Learning homeopathy - direction of symptoms

Hi,
I would like to know what does direction of symptoms mean? Like for example, they gave you Pulsatilla....how do you know the direction of symptoms? Are you going to check the complementary remedies of pulsatilla? Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You are possibly talking about direction of cure.
When a medicine is prescribed correctly and the case is curable 1. the symptoms move from above downwards. For example a pain may move from the hips to the knees then to ankles. 2. From centre to circumference, for example from internal organs to the skin. 3. From the mind to the body, for example a person suffering from mental symptoms will have physical symptoms. 4. Symptoms go in the reverse order of coming .for example if you had throat infection and then joint pain and then pain in the heart, under proper medication heart pain will go but joint pain will appear and then finally throat infection will come back before you are finally cured.
I hope the matter is clear to you now.
