4week old fights sleep

Hi there
I have a 4 week old that fights his sleep. I have to rock him and when I try to put him down he is wide awake again and will cry or will stare around the room wide eyes
It takes about 2 hours until he finally eats again and then I rock him again and then will sleep, but only lasts 45 min nap.
He doesn't like laying flat on his back, use a flat pillow.
He will sleep good from 9pm-4am with a feed at 2am (as he is dream feeding). But wide eye and gassy from 5am-7am...makes a lot of grunting noises and seems uncomfortable with gas. Very fidgety

So his day naps is where we struggle

I bought nat phos 6x (pellet) but haven't given it yet... he has hiccups with Every feed, arches back, but no spitting. He sometimes chokes/cough with bottle (I pump my breastmilk), aI'm not sure if it's silent reflux?
Any remedies that can help him nap better and help with possible reflux?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You can try the nat phos as it is a general acid reducer. Child may need
Something else.

If you are b feeding make sure your diet has no gassy foods.

You give the nat phos and check reactions..you have to decide if child is doing better then you do not give it
As it will be overdose and child will get gas and cramps back.

The best way to do this is take 1/2 tab and dissolve in tablespoon of water and syringe it in to mouth half hour before feeding.

Try one dose See what happens.
You can try one dose a day for a couple days if child is still fussy.

Is there anything to help him sleep?
We've tried offering more food, changed diaper, he burped. He's not crying, just wide eyes for 2-3 hours. He'll cry if we just lay him down, but ok in our arms

You have to get at the cause. And the cause may be gas and discomfort
Waking him. So you Handle that first and then see what is left.

My children if they took a nap in afternoon, would be up at night.

Ok I gave nat phos 1 time today.
Not sure if it worked, he was so exhausted from doing only 30 min naps all day, he was sleeping while eating. He still cried every time we put him down in crib (on a pillow). Wants to be held
What about chamomile remedy for sleep?

You have to do one remedy at a time.
And it takes a few days to see what the remedy is doing.

Is it okay to dissolve the nat phos tablet a few hours in advanced? His most troubled time is at 4am and I want to have it already dissolved
So can I do that around 10pm and give around 4am? Or doesn't it have to be done right when given

Yes, you can do that.
