Hello Joe,

I am writing in regards to your remedy Nat Phos 6X for weight loss. I am residing in new Zealand and when i ordered for Nat Phos 6X through homeopath pharmacy they have got me Nat Phos 6X in powder form. Would be kind enough to let me know if this is ok to take and if yes then what would be the dosage.

Thanking you,
Anjali

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I cannot advise you on the Nat Phos 6x powder as it is usually marketed in tablets of which 2 represents a dose to be taken after meals. Also it would be inconvenient for you to measure the quantity of the powder for a dose.

Order the tablets which is the normal manner that this biochemic remedy is presented in.

Also please verify that it is the Biochemic and not the Homeopathic presentation of this remedy. The former is triturated while the latter is potentized and will not work to reduce weight.

Natrum Phos in powder form is equally good. The quantity does not matter.Half tea spoonful or 1/4 is sufficient.

I do not agree that the quantity of the powder does not matter. I have noticed that if a larger dose of tablets are taken like 4 tablets in place of the 2 tablets, the patient noticed a bitter taste in the mouth. This was obviously due to the overdose and it did not help with weight reduction at all.

Remember that this is the 6x potency and not a higher 'c' potency when your statement should be acceptable.

I have recommended this remedy for weight loss for many patients and have fine tuned the dosage. More or less does not help with weight reduction as the dosage must be exact.

This is the reason why I suggested that the tablets be used as this is a constant dosage while the teaspoon measurement is perhaps an overdose.
