Urinary incontinence after prostate surgery

A 72 yrs old had under gone prostate surgery two years ago. Since then he is suffering from leakage of urine problem. There is no other urinary problem.
After surgery he performed pelvic muscles exercise as per advice of surgeon. But could not get any relief of the said problem.
He tried with Arnica 30, 200 , Causticum 30, 200, Natrum Mur 30,200, 1M and Staphysagria 30, 200, 1M since last six month. The last medicines he has used are Staphysagria 1M and Natrum Mur 1M. With the above treatment the leakage problem is improved a lot but could not stop it totally. Now, the leakage of urine occurs in drop by drop as soon as he stands from lying position and increases slightly on walking.
Advice from the experienced forum members are sought how to stop the leakage problem of urine.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
the problem should have been solved by arnica. how many doses were used? was any other remedy used along with arnica? you can start with arnica 30 and follow with rhus tox 30 if muscle injury is the cause of incontinence .

Arnica are used in 30c tds for 15 days and the 200c bd for 7 days. No other medicines are used with Arnica. Arnica and other medicines might have improved the condition a lot.
It is presumed that the bladder neck sphincter muscle is damaged during surgery. As the doctor has advised for pelvic muscle exercise, it is also presumed that the pelvic muscle is required to be strengthen to control the bladder. I think we need to strengthen the above muscles through medicines to get rid of the problem.
However, the doses of Arnica 30 and Rhustox 30 as suggested by you may be intimated.

give arnica 30 three doses per day for one day only and stop. observe for one day . if there is improvement give the medicine more time to act. if there is no improvement give rhus tox 30 three doses per day for two days. we may have to give rhus for a few days more but it will be better to assess the situation after 2 days and then decide.

Arnica 30 and Rhustox 30 could not show any improvement in leakage problem. Further suggestion may be given.
What's suggestion about using R-25 prostate drop(Recekwege)?

please ensure first whether arnica used was from a reputed company. many times sour articles antidote homeopathic medicine. enquire whether he ate or drank anything sour in the last couple of days. if the medicine was from reputed company and if he had not taken anything sour then complete case taking will be required.

Yes, reputed brand Arnica 30 is used. The cause of leakage might be due to damage of sphincter muscle during prostate surgery. There might be the problem in holding the bladder while the patient on standing position, as a result , the urine leaks drop by drop. Are there any medicine to strengthen that muscles? If so, we may try the same.

the problem may be on account of damaged nerves. give 3 doses hypericum 30 to see if there is any response. if nothing happens give one dose sulphur 200 to arouse the system. it may be depressed on account of low vitality. it will be better if you describe your patient both as to his physical and mental disposition.
