Teething, not eating, spilling
Hi, I have a 10 month old baby. He had silent re-flux before and I thought it was over at 6 months. At about 7.5 months he cut 4 teeth at the same time.... It was terrible. NO eating, very limited formula...., spilling whenever he had some formula. ( He is also sensitive for milk protein... special formula) it went on for about a month. Needless to say I was very worried... Doctors were no help. Now we are starting the whole process of no eating, little drinking again. I have use Nat Phos with some success in the past for the re-flux and is trying it again... no luck. Paracetamol, bonjela teething gel, cold cloths, something to chew on, do not help. He do not want me to touch his mouth. And he do not put anything in his mouth. Please help.nellie.eng on 2014-08-01

The main remedy for teething is Cal Phos. You can try that first.
Get Cal Phos 30c. You can try 3doses a 20 minutes or an hour apart. Dissolve 3 pills
into 1.4 cup of water. Give a tsp as a dose. If you have big improvment
after a dose then stop and wait--till it gets worse again before another
dose.
After 3 doses if this does not work another remedy has to be tried.
You can try Chamomilla 30 c in the same way as Cal phos and see if
that makes a difference.

2. Calc Carb-30 6 pills twice a day
Pl keep 30-40 minutes gap between 1 and 2
PL give this treatment for 10 days and then give me feedback

Can you just please briefly explain what the Cal Phos and Calc Carb is for? I tried reading up on it but it made no sense to me. I assume the Natrum Phos is for digestion and everything that might not be working to well in his tummy. e.g. to much saliva?

Here is what it says in one of my Acute books for teething
Cal Carb
Teething is painful and often delayed. Chubby baby who sweats on
back of the head or neck while sleeping. Teeth hurt more from cold
air or hot food/drink. Strong willed, cheerful- large head and tendency for
frequent colds and infections. Worse- in cold damp weather Better
for warmth. Has desires for cheese, eggs and milk.
Cal Phos
Teeth are sensitive to chewing. The baby is fussy and discontented-teeth
can be delayed and can be soft and susceptible to decay.Baby likes
to move around and likes to travel. Worse for cold drafts Better in warm
dry weather and lying down..
Chamomilla
The most common remedy for teething pain in fussy, irritated babies.
Tantrums with screaming and kicking. Hypersensitivity to pain.
Inconsolable with the pain. Wants to be carried and rocked. Can
be Quarrelsome, contrary and capricious. Can have green diarrhea
while teething Worse at night. Better carried and rocked.
Silicea
Difficult teething- tendency for teeth to break down and lose enamel.
Can be constipated as a newborn. Delicate features, thin, refined,
gums are painful inflamed and swollen-gum pain is worse from
drinking cold water. Worse from cold air, touch or pressure. Desire for eggs, Aversion to milk..
Better having some layers of clothes on.
It is suggested that if nothing works, teething can be a trying time
then try a homeopathic combo teething tablet.

In Homeopathy, it is very difficult to say or to point that medicine is given for which disease/illness

up. When it is a chronic complaint ( not teething) medicine has to match more
things, like mental and emotional states.
A close match to symptoms and better
and worse etc is a similar. The body
will not allow something similar so
the life force gets a kick start and clears
out the problem. You are always looking
for the closest match in a homeopathic
medicine.
