Irregular Heartbeat after eating

Hi,

I am a 31 year old male. I have recently developed a problem of irregular heartbeat after each meal I eat during the day.

I got all heart related tests like BP, Echo, ECG, Sugar and all are normal.

By irregular heartbeat, what I mean is there is a delay in the heart beat by around half a second after each meal I have and this delay happens for 10-40 beats. This irregularity starts 5-10 minutes after I complete my meal and goes on for the next 15-30 minutes. All such irregular beats come as palpitation and is a strange feeling just under my neck.

Can someone please suggest a cure for the problem.

Thanks,
Dheeraj

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
How long has the problem been going on?
What was going on with you when it began?
Are you on any other medications or vitamins or supplements of
any kind or were you?
Has anyone mentioned acid reflux to you? bc often acid
reflux feels like things are going on in the heart area-there
can be pressure in the sternum and on up to the throat and
many people in usa go to the ER thinking they have a heart issue
and it is acid reflux.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response. I have consulted a neurologist since my last post, and the neurologist also says that this is nothing to be worried about. Maybe its not serious, but it sure is irritating and scary and I would still like to find a cure. I try to answer your questions below.

How long has the problem been going on?
Almost 4 weeks now.

What was going on with you when it began?
Well, didnt realize exactly when it began. I had this feeling that I talked about but did not pay attention it started happening to too often i.e. each time I ate. Then I tried to find what was causing this strange feeling and I tried to check my pulse my feeling my heartbeat on my wrist.

Are you on any other medications or vitamins or supplements of
any kind or were you?
I have been extensively in weight training and cardio exercises and have taken whey protien suppliment till 2 months back for period of 1 year or so. And omega 3 suppliments as well.

Has anyone mentioned acid reflux to you? bc often acid
reflux feels like things are going on in the heart area-there can be pressure in the sternum and on up to the throat and many people in usa go to the ER thinking they have a heart issue and it is acid reflux.

This could be the reason. Although I do not feel acid reflux all that much but I do feel extra bowel gas being produced after I eat. Also been feeling constipated many times recently.

Another input is I have recently tried abies can 30, since it talked of the symtom of bowel gas interfering with heart action. just been 1.5 day, and it already seems to be working well.

Kindly provide your feedback or suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Racna

If it is working let it work. What are you taking
-30c?

take the doses when you feel things are getting worse,
or you have hit a plateau. The gaps should get longer
and longer apart.

Curious how did you pick that remedy-reading
other peoples symptoms online, materia medica
or???

You can come back on here if you get stuck.
You can also start taking Nat phos 6x cell salt,
after two meals a day for 3 weeks to get the food
staying down so there is no reflux. You can do nat
phos 3 weeks , one week off and then start again if
needed.

Stop eating acidic things, stop sugar-especially
chocolate, and do not eat anything 2 hours before
bed.
