Alcohol

Can someone please clarify for me if alcohol is regarded as an anti-dote or not? I wouldn't mind getting some certainty around this.

Ok thanks Anuj. I appreciate the clarification. In the past I would still consume a few wines or beers a couple of times a week. Now I might completely abstain for a while.
