Persistant cough with vomiting mucous
Hi,Can someone help me find a remedy for my 9 month old boy and almost 3 yr old girl. Both have had a runny nose and cough for about a week in which they tend to vomit bubbly mucous and/or food/milk. The cough is not a whooping, but more of a rattling.
So far I have given them both Hepar Sulph 30X, a cold combination remedy with Alium cepa for runny nose, and humidifier with eucalyptus oil. Hepar Sulph. is not working, I feel like I need something to help dry up the mucous.

what is the color of the cough,where is the rattling, is it periodic,what other abnormal symptoms do you notice.is their excessive sweating, if so in which areas. let me know before medicine is prescribed.

Please continue with Hep.Sulph and also give Ippecoc-30 thrice a day and report after 3 days.

I dont know what you mean by color of the cough. If you mean color of the mucous, it is clear and bubbly unless of course they just ate.
It is a rattling in the throat as you hear the mucous. I guess I could describe it as a 'wretched' cough. As I can tell it comes from the belly.
It is periodic throughout the day, worse in the evening.
No sweating.

Nasal discharge is clear and constant.
I cant tell when its worse.It may be worse when they have been outside playing. Our house has been a little warm and humid. No air conditioning, just fans and windows open.

you can give your child ferrum phos 6x and kalimur 6x two tabsof each three times a day if no improvement is there after hepr.
