Help for Periodontitis?

G'Day,
Is there anybody out there who has experience with treating periodontitis with a homeopathic remedy? I would be grateful for any feedback, positive or negative.

I am not happy with the dentists' and periodontists' attitudes (...the teeth have to go) and I am looking for a more holistic approach. Furthermore I am sick of being treated as if I didn't take care of my teeth. I clean them at least twice a day with an electr. toothbrush and floss as well. I think the problem is the dentists in the first place. I have still got some almalgan fillings, but I do not match the Mercury picture. I also had some "preventive" treatment done, but without success.

Now my gums have already receded from the teeth and there is also a considerable loss of bone (had x-rays done) and thus some loose teeth. The two left upper front teeth are especially effected, I can't even bite into a bun and I can move them with my tongue!

Since 19 Feb. I am being treated by a homeopath. My sim is Sepia and I took four doses of 1LM. I did not experience an aggravation but it cleared a few symptoms (bloated abdomen, pains in abdomen after eating, lack of energy, always tired), but no mental symptoms.

On 05/06 March I took 2 doses of Staphysagria 10M though I do not match the mental picture. A day later the aggravation started. It reads like a proving but was without exception old symptoms I experienced over the next 10 days. Headache for 3 days, sharp pain in right ear, infected eye, neuralgic pain in right upper arm, pains in both ovaries, bleeding gums.

On 25 March I started to take Sepia again as it can have a positive effect on teeth too and to clear some other symptoms. 3 doses 1LM. My gums are a bit aggravated but so far nothing else happend. I know I have to be patient and wait but in the meantime would like to get some other opinions.

Any suggestions? Maybe Staph in a lower potency for chronic complaints or Carb-v?
Or..?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Akubra

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The inflammatory changes and the exudation into the root of the teeth could be helped in your case by Hepar sulph and later by Merc sol.
Since the bone seems to affected Hekla lava in triturtion form could cure your problem.
But I still feel lot many symptoms need to be taken before going for a prescription. You have already used some medicines but atleast this time dont be in a hurry.

Anyone who has had treatment for advanced periodontal disease knows that meticulous homecare is the key to keeping periodontal disease from rearing its ugly head – again. Because personal oral care is a big part of any periodontal treatment plan, your dentist or dental hygienist will spend lots of time with you making sure you understand and implement proper brushing and flossing techniques at home. usanmillardental com
