Mother's Cardiovascular Issue

I gave my Mother Carbo Veg 30 as recommended by you.

Though there is an improvement with respect to her cough and urination issues, the palpitations and blue/black tongue (upper surface and left side of tongue) persist.

Please advise further.

I will give her the Arsenicum Album 30 and report back in a week.

Also, there was a heart monitor placed on her for 48 hours. The result was that she had experienced atrial fibrillation (palpitations) for 24% of that time. We will be taking to her to a specialist shortly.

Dear Mr. Kadwa.

I did give her the Arsenicum Album as per your recommendation.

This had no positive results and my Mother complained of being light headed and experiencing vertigo.

She has been taking Kali Phos 6X for the past few days with no change as of yet.

We did meet with a cardiologist and he looked at her test results and indicated that because she has a healthy heart, they cannot do anything about the palpitation and have recommended blood thinners to reduce the potential for clot formation.

She is continuing to take the Kali Phos 6x you recommended.

Do you have any additional comments or suggestions.

My Mother is following your latest recommendation. She has taken the Carbo Veg 30 and will start on the Kali Phos 6X tomorrow and complete the course by May 28th.

My Mother has followed your recommendation and taken the Carbo Veg 30 and Kali Phos 6X as per you directions and completed the course as of the end of day on May 28th.

Though her condition is stable, there is no improvement with respect to the palpitations.

Thanks for this recommendation. Coincidently, I was going to ask you about using Lachesis and appropriate dosage. I appears we are thinking alike.

I will give her one dose of Lachesis 200 and report back to you next week.

Dear Mr. Kadwa,

I gave my Mother one dose of Lachesis 200 8 days ago.

The following is summary of her response to the single dose:

- overall, the palpitations have reduced in frequency and duration
- they are occurring mainly after a meal or upon lying down and last for about five minutes now

- the dry cough has also gone down in frequency and duration

- the blue/black colouration of her tongue seems to to be less but is still apparent

- the constipation and restless sleep issues are still present

- she is also feeling a little more fatigued and experiencing more leg pain than usual
- this may be due to the worsening condition of her arthritic right knee joint

Do you feel she should continue with Lachesis. If so, what potency and frequency do you recommend.

Please advise as to next steps.

I gave my Mother one dose of Lycopodium 200 one week ago.

The following is summary of her response to the single dose:

- the sensation of having palpitations has reduced but the atrial fibrillation continues
- her pulse rate varies between 48-98 beats per minute within a one minute window

- the dry cough has also gone down in frequency and duration but still there

- the blue/black colouration of her tongue seems to to be less but is still apparent

- the constipation and restless sleep issues are still present

- overall she is feeling okay

- the cardiologist will be putting a ECG monitor on her for a two day period and we will have a better idea of the extent of the atrial fibrillation

I have observed my Mother for an additional week as per your recommendation. It has been about three weeks since I gave her a single dose of Lycopodium 200.

- the atrial fibrillation continues but is less severe
- she is feeling a bit of 'heaviness' in the upper left side of her chest
- she feels it may be gas

- the dry cough has also gone down in frequency and duration but is still there
- she is very sensitive to sour foods and beverages and this is part of the cause of the coughing

- the blue/black colouration of her tongue seems to to be a bit less but is still very apparent

- the constipation and restless sleep issues are better

- overall she is feeling okay

- she has an ECG monitor on her for a two day period and we will be getting the results in the next week

My apologies for the delay.

I did give my mother a single dose of Carbo Veg 200 July 12th. There was change over the next 10 days.

- the atrial fibrillation continues
- a two day monitoring indicated she was having atrial fibrulation 24 5 of the time

- the dry cough is still coming back

- the blue/black colouration of her tongue is still very apparent

- overall she is feeling okay though having a bit of anxiety
