HELP! Does secretive nature prevents diagnosis and treatment? Very new to homeopathy

I have been suffering with constant fatigue for around a year. Before this I would say I was in very robust physical health. The fatigue has got worse in the last 6-8 months and it comes and goes in waves, but the exhaustion is more debilitating and can often be overwhelming. In the last 6 months I have also developed jawline acne (I have never had any spots before, not even as a teenager) and sores in my nose and cuts in my mouth.

I went to a doctor and was tested for many things (iron levels, full blood count, HIV, hepatitis etc.) I was normal in every way, except for a slightly low platelet count, and more crucially, I gave a positive result for glandular fever (epstein barr virus/ infectious mono). This would seem to explain my recent problems.

As there is no treatment for this in ‘traditional’ medicine I went for my first consultation with a homeopath recommended by a friend. She was very thorough and asked many questions over nearly two hours. She has given me 30c Carc once a day and Margnesium to be taken if I present any flu like symptoms. I am to return in one month and we will see where to go next.

However, I was inquisitive after the appointment and have been reading about how homeopathy works and am very concerned as I have concealed information from the homeopath.

We covered some emotional issues and environmental factors, I was superficially open but despite thinking I should, I couldn't bring myself to tell her about a history of disordered eating / laxative abuse (I stopped this completely about 8 months ago at the same time I gave up smoking 20 cigarettes a day)/low self esteem/ infidelities. I am concerned that she will not be able to make an accurate diagnosis without the information, but I also do not feel able to reveal these things to a person face to face.

Would it be enough to simply tell her that I am secretive and hide things that would seem out of character to others? I am used to hiding feelings etc and always have done. For example hiding eating disorders from friends and family.

I believe that my recent health problems came about as the result of hiding and suppressing a huge volume of things from my partner and from people looking into all aspects of my life during an intrusive selection process for a job. I was very anxious about people finding out things about me that I hide and became very stessed about it. Fortunately this period is now behind me and I have passed the selection and have resolved some of my relationship problems with my partner.

Also I have read something about thuja - could my secretive nature be due to this? I hide things, but not to deceive people or out of any desire to be cruel. Quite the opposite, I do it because I would rather suffer myself than inflict discomfort on others. This includes the homeopath! I am worried she will think me too odd to keep treating!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You should reveal everything and hide nothing.

Dear Patient,
I would suggest that you take the Bach Flower Remedy AGRIMONY for a few days. You may be hiding your inner feelings out of a sense of prestige (you fear a loss of prestige if you say this to your doctor or partner or anyone else - what will they think of me... kind of feelings).

Agrimony helps you open up easily and is called an OPENER in Bach flower parlance.

If you carry too many guilt feelings, the Bach Flower Remedy PINE is also in order.
