primary hyperoxaluria
hi, my 16 month old daughter has been diagnosed with primary hyperoxaluria type 1. She has end stage renal failure beacuse of calcium oxalate deposits. Doctors saying she has problem with liver as it is not producing a enzyme called AGXT which breaks down oxalate. And she needs a liver transplant.She does passes small amounts of urine 3-4 times a day. Is there any medicine to cure the liver and also to clear the kidneys. Please reply quicklly. Any one have experience this disease before.Any homeopathic remedy? Please help me out here. thankxneedi on 2009-12-16

Please give her a single dose of Arsenicum Album 200c for one day (only one day, not daily) and see whether it helps.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

what is this for kidneys or liver. can any of the experienced doctors advice good remedy for liver to start making this enzyme to break oxalate.thankx

Ars Alb is a remedy having remarkable influence over both kidney and liver. In homeopathy a remedy is suggested based on the totality of symptoms. In this case as the patient is only 16 month old one may not be able to get any significant symptoms like mental state etc. It is not allopathy so there cannot be any specific good remedy for liver to start making this enzyme to break oxalate.
You may also give her 5 drops of Solidago Virga Q or 2 pellets of Solidago Virga 3x thrice a day from next day onwards (after giving ars alb on the first day) for 7 days. Solidago is a general remedy for renal failure.

can you please suggest any remedy to clear calcium oxalate diposits in kidneys..i have given her Arsenicum 200 and also started Solidago Q. And also is there any other remedy we can give for liver.thankx

Please give her 3 drops of each of the following mother tinctures thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 10 days and report back
Berberis Vulgaris Q Chelidonium Q
The first one is for calcium oxalate deposits in kidney and the second one is the liver tonic.

thanks...can i give her capsella bursa-pastoris instead of Berberis Vulgaris. We have been giving her Bryonia 200 before for liver. Please advise ASAP. thanks

i don't know about capsella bursa-pastoris, so i can't advice on that.
Bryonia is a great polychrest. It can work if the totality of symptoms match. It should not be repeated very often in 200 potency. The remedies i advised to repeat often are the remedies in Q form. i asked you to give Ars Alb 200c only once.
