Hormonal Problems leading to thinning of hair

Hi there,

I'm a 33 year old female and recently
1) my hair has begin to thin, my hairline is also receding dramatically.
2) Doctors told me that it could be due to hormonal imbalance (high levels of androgens) which I may have inherited from my parents and have prescribed me contracepetive pill. I don't want to stay on the pill for long because of the side effects. Can you prescribe me a homeopathic remedy to balance my hormones and to rstore my hair?
3)Also lately, I am beginning to feel low, depressed, anxious and I doubt myself...it could be due to the hair problem or could it also be related to my hormonal imbalance? I really hope to overcome these problem of mine safely, holistically and really hope you can help me. Thank you in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi there, I'm still waiting for a reply. There were previous posts of similar problem but shouldn't each individual be diagnisosed differently?

Thank you for taking time out to diagnose me

1. Describe your main suffering?
I have thinning hair on the crown and my hair line is receding too, I guess my hair has been thinning for the past 2 years and now it is very obvious. I have about 50% of the hair that I used to have now.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

At the moment nothing much...I used to have acne so I have some acne scars on my face, my body tends to get heaty, so I often have mouth ulcers and tonsilitis.
I don't like to be in air conditioned room for very long, I cannot really stand cold weather
I have a very low feeling (depressed) in my genitalia and this feeling is exarcebated by the contraceptive pill I'm taking

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

I am depressed, lack of confidence, somedays I don't feel like going out of the house because of my hair, even before I realised about my thinning hair, I often feel low, lack of self esteem, I doubt myself and my capabilities. There were moments last year (before I realised about my thinning hair) that I felt the people around me dislike me, talk about me behind my back, I often feel anxious

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

I feel like commiting suicide, or crawling in a dark hole where noone can find me
5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

The thinning hair has been ongoing for the last few years, my depression has been going on ever since I was a teenager but it got worse two years ago when I started mixing with a new group of friends, whom sometimes I feel left out in their activities or I feel pressurised to excel and be cool as them. It also started at the same time when I got a teaching job in a very good college, I felt very stressed and often I felt that I amn not good enough for my job. I don't teach as well as my colleagues (which is not just my perception but it is very ture) and the students do not like my teaching.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

In the late afternoons and after dusk

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

For my hair: When I see the balding spot on my head in a mirror or my forehead seesm so high in the mirror.

For my general depression: When I think that my friends gossip about me because of my actions or the way I look

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

I have to say it gets slightly worse before my period, but generally I feel like that most of the time

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
I feel slightly better during hot weather..I don't really know actually

I am messy,my desk is cluttered, I don't put things in order. I tend to procrastinate sometimes, I can be quite suspicious of people's intentions and I admit I can be abit sensitive, I tend to over think about things. But generally, I am agreeable, I don't like conflicts, I can be quite chatty if I know the person well. I can make new friends easily but I cannot really address a room full of people. I will clam up. I get nervous if I need to talk during a meeting. I don't like to attract attention, I become too conscious if alot of people are listening to me

No gestures..but I do masturbate, it used to be quite a lot when I was younger, nowadays I will do only very few times

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

My mother passed away recently and I was devastated and I guess this added to my depression. I wish the rest of my family members are closer and will do things together, it makes me sad that even we live under the same roof, we only mind our own business.
I am single, so I spend alot of time with my friends. I adore them, without them I'll be lonely, but sometimes I feel my friends are not truthful to me, I don't know why but I doubt them, like as if I will never be a part of them, I'm always different, the odd one out

Please take three doses of Lycopodium 200c at a gap of 4 hours for one day (not daily, only one day) and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you very much for your prompt reply...so just let me clarify again, I just need to take 3 doses of Lycopodium at a gap of 4 hours for ONLY one day and nothing afterwards?
Can Lycopodium help me in my thinning hair? Because that is really distressing me...or should I supplement Lycopodium with something else? Thank you in advance
