Hernia in 3 Month Old + Very Fussy

My 3 month old has an ingruinal hernia (groin on the right side.) I noticed it a month ago and he is scheduled to have it surgically repaired in 2 weeks. I've noticed that he's become increasingly fussy since I noticed the hernia. It 'pops out' sometimes and he doesn't seem bothered yet other times it does seem to be irritating.

He spits up frequently - not a lot but it's not improving as it normally does with infants (at least as it did with my other two children.) He often seems unsettled and restless.

I put his symptoms in the remedy search and it said 'Lycopodium' should be used. I have some on hand and gave him one dose (30 C.)

I'm new to homeopathy and so I am not sure about dosages, etc. I have used homeopathy with myself for many things in the past couple months and have become a believer.

Any advice? Thank you.
