PLease Help my 72-year old Father having Chronic Dry Cough!

Hi ,

My father is 72 years of age, and has high BP that is being controlled by Losar H. He is taking ecosprin as blood thinner and another cholesterol reducing medicine.

He had been complaining of chest pain - more like a heavy pressure in the entire chest wall which felt to him like a burp that was stuck, for last 2 weeks. He would keep awake all night because of this problem trying to burp it out.

LAst week he had soda thinking it was going to help him bring the gas stuck inside - out! And then he felt a lot of pain in his chest which kept increasing when he then decided to go to the emergency hospital.

AT the hospital, they said
he had a mild heart attack (docs said some minor variations in ECG). He soon recovered from this and his Echo Cardiography came out normal.

My father has been plagued by chronic dry cough all throughout last 2 weeks that did not respond to Linctus cough syrup given at the hospital. He seems to have it through out the day and more after food. At night is is not able to sleep well because of this.

Is there any homeopathy remedy to bring relief to his persistent dry cough?

Thank You for any input on this.

God Bless!
M.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi,

My brother just told me that the soda my father had was 1 day before the increased chest heaviness that prompted my father to go to the hospital.

Also on this day my father had Ferrum phos 30x about 3 times that day the last dosage being at 6:30PM. The chest heaviness began at 9:30PM. He had also had Ferrum Phos 30X the previous day 3 times. Also 2 doses of influenzinum 200C was given one the early morning of the hospital day, and 1 dose the previous night.

My father is now thinking that the increased chest pain must have been because of the Ferrum phos 30X.

Could any doctor clarify this for him? Could the Ferrum phos in any way could have led him to have that mild heart attack?

Is it safe for a person with heart blockages(thickened aorta wall) to have Ferrum Phos for early stage of infections?

God Bless!

Please ask him to take arsenic alb 30c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for 3 days and report back.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank You, Dr. Kadwa!

I will let him know.

Also he has plaque in his arteries. I was researching and found that vanad-m is used for atherosclerosis. Have you any experience with using this medicine for such heart blockage? Or is there anything that could help remove plaque from arteries without having to go for a bypass?

Thank You once again!
God Bless!
