Guidance on how long to take remedy

1. My partner, aged 58, has type 2 diabetes and associated peripheral neuropathy. He now has an open sore on his foot and gets these very easily. This is being treated allopathically at the moment. I would appreciate advice on a remedy to help this heal.

2. Searching for possible remedies on ABC Homeopathy, I found posts about diabetes, including one which recommend the following:
Insulinum 30 once daily in the morning
Pancreatinum 30 once daily
Syzygium Jambo, before meals, 10 drops in water.

Please could someone tell me how long one should take these for?

The post also said that it is possible to reverse and restart the langerhans insulea, as well as damaged tissue. If this is achievable (and I am assuming it is the above medication that will achieve this), should the peripheral neuropathy also be halted and/or reversed?
