yellow palms

Hi,

Could anyone suggest why i may have a yellow tinge to the palm of my hands. I also have it on the soles of my feet? It's been like that on my feet for a long time though and i've always put that down to poor circulation. The yellowing on my palms has been like this for a month or 2 and when i point it out to the dr they can't see it in the light of the surgery. It's not my imagination - family members have pointed it out too. I am attending the homeopathic hospital and taking staphysagria now since Aug - 1M dose 3-5 drops per day.

Thanks!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Have you felt any difference in any of your symptoms since you started taking Staphysagria?

I'll strongly recommend you to stop taking it starting from today because no remedy should be taken daily in a mechanical way for several months.

If you want a more proper indication of a remedy and directions of dosage, please post here if you have more current symptoms.

No i wouldn't say it's been since starting staphysagria. I've been advised by the dr at the NHS Homeopathic hospital to take the remedy this way. I hace physical and emotional issues and it was felt it would need to be dealt with gently? I went online today and it was suggested i had a beta carotene over dose? I eat lot's of these vegetables. I don't have any symptoms other than the colouring of my skin.

Thanks

kristy,

please stop taking this remedy as rapheal has suggested. there is a chance that you will have long term aggravation and you will develop resistance to remedies.

you never take such high potency remedies in such quick intervals and for that long.

if the remedy had worked, you would feel the difference after a single dose.

Thanks for all your help. I'm currently in touch with my dr and will post the results as soon as i know what they're saying.

PS I haven't had any staphysagria now for a week due to a course of antibiotics that i'e had to take for a burn infection....

Hi spoke to homeopathic hospital and they say all dr's use remedies differently and it's ok. I am seeing the nurses tomorrow at my health centre and will get my hands looked at again, will be in touch with my homeopathic dr next week and will keep you posted. I'm not taking the staphysagria for now.

Thanks Kirsty

Hi,

Just a quick update. I'm absolutely fine. I have been taking Milk Thistle and the discolouration is leaving the palms of my hands - just an overdose of antioxidants building up on my system.

Regarding the dosaging of staphysagria it was brought to my attention that Hahnemann himself created the LM doses in Paris specifically for his highly sensitive and easily aggricated (homeopathically) patients even with the 30c doses. He also created the LM doses for frequent repetition in cases with persistent pathology. He found the dry centesimal doses were not ideal for this purpose. So looks like the worry is over and i'm using the staphysagria in the right way :o) Thanks to everyone that has tried to help me out.... Kirsty
