Contact dermatitis?

Hi, About two years ago I started to have a very itchy rash in the belt area, first only in wintertime when I gained a bit more weight and belt got tighter. In the summer I tend to lose 5-6 lbs. due to gardening and being out of doors and the rash tends to disappear, possibly because clothes are not as tight, although pants can't be too loose or they would fall off! Doc prescribed Ectosone cream (Betamethasone Valerate 0.1%) This helped for a while, but rash would reappear. Then same in combination with antihistamine. Not much better. Actually, what helps most is Aveeno anti-itch cream but its only a temporary relief of itch. I put cream on after shower in the morning and am fine for most of the day. but sometimes I need to have a satisfying scratch!
At present, the rash appears in an area below and to the right of the navel, about 5' wide x 3' high. There is also a small red itchy spot in the left dimple on the lower back. And recently a small itchy area has developed in the crook of my left arm.
I feel that suppression of these symptoms is not the answer and hope that a homeopathic remedy will work better.
I have great faith in homeopathy as I have experienced its benefits before. I have consulted my Kent and Boericke, tried Sulphur 30c but no improvement so far. Hope you have some suggestions. Thanks for your help!
