Leg stiffness when walking or standing

Hi. I am a female in my mid 50's. I am having a problem with stiffness & paralysis that occurs in my legs when I walk or stand. When this occurs, they also feel very heavy and are difficult to lift. It disappears when I sit down for awhile or fall asleep. It varies as to where it occurs in my legs, sometimes thighs, sometimes calves, and sometimes ankles. But always in both legs at the same time in the same location. Stress makes it much worse. It all started about 15 years ago when I had extremely low self-esteem due to a divorce and I lost an excessive amount of weight caused by a poor diet and over-exercising. I am at a healthy weight now and have been for the past 4 years. For the most part, I eat a good balanced diet. But, regaining the weight did not change the problem with my legs. I no longer exercise because of the problem with my legs. So, my lifestyle is very sedentary. Mentally, I feel ok with my life, but not real connected to the world or close to the family or people around me. I don't look forward to much of anything and I prefer to be alone a lot and just spend my free time reading or watching TV. I sleep restlessly and for only about 6 hours at night. I prefer salty foods over sweet foods. Regardless of the food, I have some indigestion about an hour after eating and take probiotics to settle my stomach. When urinating, my bladder is slow to empty, starting and stopping two or three times. This past week, I tried taking Conium Maculatum (10X), 3 pills under my tongue 3 times a day. Within 3 hours of taking the first dose, my symptoms begin to get worse and contiunued to get worse with each passing day (stiffness and incredible weakness and having to move incredibly slow when I walked). I did this for 4 days, then quit altogether because I felt so bad. It has now been 2 days since I took the last dose and I am pretty much back to where I started in the way I feel and when the stiffness comes on ... although my legs do feel slightly stronger when I first start walking. Could you please help me with a suggestion on a remedy, the dose, the frequency, how long to take it, and how long I would need to wait after taking the Conium Maculatum before I could try it? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Take Conium Maculatum 30 2 pills three times a day for a week.

Thank you so much. Do I get Conium Maculatum 30X or 30C? And, can I start right away or should I wait for a couple of weeks?

Yes, it is Conium Maculatum 30C.

Since you have chosen Conium and told that it was giving you relief so I thought you may try in a bit higher potency

However, I had in mind another good remedy and that is :

Calc.Ars. 6 Potency
( if not available in a bit higher say 12 or 30C potency.)

Its effect is on lower extremedtes. I give below the conditions on which it works :-

'Removes inflammatory products in veins of lower extremities. Weariness and lameness of lower limbs'

This is what Dr. Boeriche has written in his Materia Medica.

My assumption is that this remedy should be more useful.

It sounds like the Calcarea Arsenica would be a better choice. I will do that.

I can order it in 6C, 12C, or 30C. Which do you think would be the best to start with?

Do I take it 2 pills, three times a day for a week?

When you change remedies or potencies, do you need to wait some time in between? And, if so, for how long?

Thank you for all your help.
