please help me!!!

Hi, I am a mother of a 5 1/2 year old girl. We are from India. My problem is that right since she has been 3, my daughter has been very frail. She falls ill easily and it is generally prolonged. She has been diagnosed as mild asthmatic and I give her asthalin inhaler whenever reqd. What can I do to boost her immunity. She hardly eats.
We used to live in the hills where there was a lot of pollen. Now we have moved to a city. She has not been ill for quite some time now like nearly 1 year. However, for the past 2 days she is again having cough attacks like the previous ones. Her cough is continuos, not limited to night etc. How can I get rid of her cough?
PLEASE HELP ME.

Give your daughter cold water and see whether there is any difference.

After one hour give her boiled and cooled water, while still being luke warm.

Observe the response in both cases, and let us know.

Is there any phelgum/mucus?

How violent is the cough? Does it sound hollow, or does it sound to come from deep inside?

Is it a few bouts at a time, or does she cough for a prolonged time?

What is the gap between one attack and the other?
