Pitysporum folliculitis
Does anyone have any suggestions for helping Pitysporum folliculitis? I have been on an anti-fungal medication, but that hasn't helped.Kg2007 on 2007-03-11
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Let me add to this...I have heard this is a fungus type form of folliculitis vs. bacteria folliculitis. Any suggestions?

I was also told the same problem had rounds of antifungal therapy which did not help. I wote on the forum and got a reply from rishimba , this was some 2-3 months back. he told me to try Sepia 200 evry alternate day on empty stomach for 10 days. it caused the hair regrowth after 20-25 days. All the hair which looked as under growth came back but those small smmall pin head type reddish brown marks are still there. In fact I wanted to ask rishimba but my mail could not be found here.
In fact I noticed the marks became more noticeable a couple of days bak and i took sepaia 200 once again and it looks that it has help
i would request Dr. rishimba to please reply
