Sex benefits what?

Dear Doctor(s),

I've been reading online on what sex does to both the male and female body, but i am yet to find the real fact online or in the library.

I was wondering if sex really does help males relieve stress and what else does it do?

Also, i'm curious on what benefits females from sex.
