Dear John,

I am taking note of your comment and I am researching it!

In ABC's list of meds:

GLONOIN = GLONOINUM

(headache + heart palpitation + pulsating tooth ache + blood pressure).

bEST,
PANKAJ VARMA

manage blood pressure with essential fatty acid supplementation-- "udo's choice oil blend"

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-28
I have asked my homeopath about glonoine and she is not considering it at all.

She suggests that I take Staph, 2 dosages/day of #6 for now and report.

I believe her angle is to treat the anger via Staph and see what happens with BP.

She is not quick on giving me any recommendation for cholesterol and high BP...and I am not happy about it. She wants to see the exact numbers, meaning the doctor' s sheet of results. Arrgh!

Yes, John, I agreee with your suggestion. (I know PRO-EPA works well for cholesterol, for sure.) I will check Udo' s oil blend.

I have been taking Staph # 6 for 4 days now...and I do not see any noticeable changes yet...

Pankaj,
I started to have a "flare" on my tongue again(starts on the edge of the tongue to spread toward the middle). This time, it is a little worse than the previous times (2 spots flaring instead of one). Do you think that Kali. Phos has anything to do with it?

Sorry Moderator ...it is back.

Salem...

On your tongue....that is from Staphys or Natrum Mur....both given in high potencies!

Kali Phos has been given in very low potency (6X)....and does not cause an aggravation. (Bio -chemic potenciy).

In the past did you ever experience inflammation of the tongue and bad breath fro mthe mouth???

Best,
Pankaj Varma

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-30
I started to have flares on the tongue 2 days before I EVER started with the homepath, so I do not think it is the remedies. I do not have problem with bad breath.

I think it could be one way for my anger to "come out" somewhat. I am not sure though.

Both Staph and nat. Mur, were given with #6 potency. 2 doses a day at the most!

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-31
Can you describe the flares??

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-31
The usual flare starts on the edge of the tongue, on the right side, about quarter of an inch long. Then it spreads like "wild grass fire" to 1/2 inch long and going towards the middle of the tongue.

The inside of the flare is red and a bit raw...and the edge is slightly raised and white.

The progression is quite fast as I can see a change in it after 4-5 hours.

This time...it is twice as big (1/2 inch to 1 inch long), plus one more little flare almost to the middle of the tongue, close to the other flare (on same side).

Now, if I recall well, I had a flare happen one month before I ever saw the homeopath.

With Staphysagria: I am taking 4 pellets/day (#6) and no noticeable changes.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-31
Usually the Sub-maxillary glands of a Staphysagria patient are swollen.

These are the glands below the jaw line...moving from edge of the jaw ...towards the chin.

Do you have it??

For the flare on the tongue ...need to take Mercurius Sol. 200 three times a day for 3 days.

Glonoin is also needed.

best,
Pankaj Varma

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-31
No, I do not have swollen glands.

I will check Mercurius Sol!

Thanks Pankaj! You are a sweetie!

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-01
Hey Pankaj!

I bought Mercurius Sol today and I can already see a marked improvement on my tongue! Less whitish and less lacerated on the edge as well. And the flare is calming down too. Wow!

Your tooth ache should also see some improvement.

Pankaj,

I got Glonoinum and I will try it like you said in terms of dosage.

One question: would it interfere with Staphysagria?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-01
Forgot to mention I got Glonoinum 30c.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-02
For your current symptoms Glonoinum will act best.

Mercuris Sol. is the inter-current remedy....i.e. used along with another. This one has already shown results and will keep working for you for almost three weeks with the current dosage.

Staphys has not shown any results....so question of interference doesn't arise.

Mean while, Glononium also addresses the problem of pent up anger...all BP medicines do so.

The important thing to remember is ....which remedy has a "drug picture" that is identical with your symptoms.

In your case: Glonoinum

By taking a few doses you will know if it is working.

Your BP reading itself will indicate progress or otherwise.

Best,
Pankaj Varma

I have taken Glonoinum # 30c like you said and do not see a change yet in heart palpitations or BP.

Same with Staphysagria #6c (taken it for 8 days now).

Should I increase potency or let it run as it is?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-03
How many doses of Glonoinum 30 C you have taken in a day?

and at what intervals?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-03
Today, being the second day of the instructions you gave me, I took it 4 times throughout the day. First thing in the morning, lunch time around, supper time around and now..almost bedtime (1am).
I usually know when I go to bed because that is when it is the most obvious and a bit stronger.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-03
Keep taking it....Glononinum requires taking med frequently.....should expect results on third day or fourth day from start.

Best,

Pankaj Varma

salem--how has your sleep been lately?dreams?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-03
Pankaj,

Last night was better in terms of heart palpitations. BP this morning is 138/84!
I will keep taking Glonoinum today and tomorrow. Alright with that?

John, my dreams are somewhat the same except maybe a little stranger than usual. My sleep is better...I woke up later than usual today, which is rare.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-11-04
Pankaj and John,

I think that Staphysagria is making itself known a bit now...Today, I got really upset towards my homeopath because she wants a 5 pages diary of what I eat in order to prescribe supplements for the cholesterol. The thing is... I have done that already when we first met!

It is already very hard for me to submit any info because submission triggers me a lot: I had to submit too much in the past to my parents and abusers.

Now, I have to submit my failure (food is my weakest point)one more time and it is humiliating and shameful to me. I told her that I am rebelling!

Tonight, I saw myself shouting at my partner when I told my story about the homeopath. My anger is increasing and more explosive which was an old pattern when we first met.She told me that I scared her.
