Dear Salem

Pankaj has got lot of clinical experience.

Kali Phos 6x is a biochemic medicine, which perhaps, you are aware.

So,to aid you in getting rid of the palpitations, and perhaps to remove the excessive action the indiscriminate use of nat.mur has caused, you may try Kali phos 6X.

When was the last you took nat.mur?

As regards to Staphysagria,we may have to discuss further.Meanwhile, go ahead with Kali phos.

Murthy

I live in New Delhi.

Have visited many countries...around the world.

(Have seen Victoria, Whistler Mountain and Niagara Falls in your country).

Have seen a lot of my own country too.

Seen and inter-acted with people from many cultures. Respect all religions.

Although, my permanent address is :

c/o

Sri Sathya Sai Baba
Prashanti Nilayam
Puttaparthi
Distt. Anantpur, A.P.
India.

(That is where my mind resides).

Incidentally, Baba has a hospital in Puttaparti and another one now come up near Software Park in Bangalore where (allopathic) surgery is performed by doctors of international eminence and from many countries around the world (devoted to Baba) ..free of charge. I am told...the success rate is very high.

Dear Pankaj,
What inspired you to study homeopathy? How long have you been into it?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-21
To answer your questions in the reverse order:

1. If I can re-collect correctly, I purchased my first book on homeopathy in 1981 at a book store by mere chance and as an impulsive purchase.

It was a very elementary book on homeopathy. About 80/90 pages.

Then I read more books and made friends with homeopathic doctors.

First I tried medicines on my self. It took me a year or two to try the medicines on my kids and other family members.

I was encouraged by the response....and then there was no going back.

What inspired me?

It first started as a disillusionment with allopathy.

Allopathic doctors prescribe anti-biotics to small children indiscriminately. Coming from a scientific background and having a liking for reading books, I used to do lots of reading. The more I read about the negatives the more scared I became.

I was looking for an alternative....and I had already stumbled upon it.

If you have stomach ache, the allopath will give you one med. Same evening you go to the eye specialist to show the rash in your eyes, he will give you another set of meds...they won't even bother to check the inter-action of the two meds prescribed by the two doctors. They don't even enquire (..what other medication you are on to?)...leave alone spend time.

Surely there is inter-action between meds....which can lead to complications for the patient. Many of these complications show up many years later as "after-effects/ side - effects" in the name of arthiritis, blood pressure, heart ailment, asthma, etc etc..

Homeopathy takes into account all the "signals and sounds" the body is making form "head to toe" and co-relates all that to arrive at
a single or two meds that will produce the cure.

In the homeopathic treatment....a very small amount of the medicine invades the human system. It just stimulates the body's own repair mechanism to take charge and produce the healing.

It was not difficult for me to accept the truth of the laws of homeopathy as I had studied many things in life electronics, protons, neutrons, electrons, waves, frequency modulation, amplitude modulation, solid state materials, integrated circuits,Mandleaf's table, elements , compounds, chemical reactions, catalysts, Fortran and what not.(A great assortment).,

Every thing relating to small particles of mass and energy....and conversion of mass into energy (E = mc squared).

In short:
I knew about the immense power of "the small dose" !!!

I see some websites where they ridicule homeopathy because of the dependence on the "smallest of the small dose" ....and pride themselves in their scientific background!...leaves me a lot amused! ..A lot amused!!

Best regards,
Pankaj Varma

Hi salem
I am a natrum muriaticum constitutional type too. I have had much disappointment too in life which has effected me deeply but also many highs, thank god for the highs! I had the palpitations long time ago. Sepia also helps a nat mur type and sometimes nux vom - with the stomach.
So you like potato chips, dogs, children and helping the earth too?
Nice to meet you.
Salty

Thanks Pankaj!
I have been a shiatsu practitioner for 14 years now. With practice, I became more and more intuitive and attuned and can now with the touch of my hand discover my clients issues and the body part being affected if need be. It is very rewarding!

Being aware of what we do to our body is half the battle.

My life has been quite challenging...and I thought that I was finished with improving...until someone said I should try homeopathy for the headaches. And now I see myself finding serendipity.

Dear Salty, my highs are just starting to show up...and I like what I see so far!

I like fries mainly and I am not too fond of kids, though I can be ok with them if need be. I still have palpitations...I hear sepia is the Nat. mur. antidote? I will keep in mind Nux v. because sometimes my stomach is off when I have a headache. (need to research that.)
How long have you been taking Nat. Mur.?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom John Stanton [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
shiatzu and such practitioners--are sucseptable to influences from patient/client--particularly (as mentioned) have a ''feel'for there work---this is typically indicated in phosphorous and products/combinations of---ph-aciid;calc-phos in particular.....also depends if any allopath medicines used/using in health history and when...

Very interesting topic you are raising, John! I am glad you bring it up.I would like to hear more about it, please?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom John Stanton [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
really nothing more to add to that particular point...besides all health practitioners are to raise there own state of well-being--having some form of daily practise--yogic--qiqong--etc -----as well pure homoeopathy so as to survive the diseased states we work with.....any further would entail me asking you many questions...this clarifying to myself exactly what is occuring in your case..

Hum...Go for it and ask! I will answer as best as I can. I am sure other practitioners would be interested in your questions.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
Hi John,

Being a sculptor in my soul, I had to find something I was good at (other than art) to bring balance into my life, but also to give me control over my time schedule. In short, I would be able to work at home and find the time to create.

So, for a couple of years, I searched while working in the film industry. Someone told me to try shiatsu to relax a little bit...So I went....and went back 2 weeks later...to continue for a year like that. During that year, I was able to realise that I could feel so much and thought I could do it. I went back to school for 2 years and started to practice at a clinic for 3 years, then switched to working at home.

Now, I work with about 2 clients a day, which is not much but allows me to work on my art. Not only that, but I do not get too tired with that workload.

My routine is about 2 clients a day...have a nap at around 3 pm, then work on my art until 1 or 2 am. If I need a day off, it is easy to do.

I do not smoke or drink, but I like my Junk Food! I like fries and hamburgers and Taco Bell and pizzas. I need to drink Pepsi but I only drink half a can or less for the day.I love chocolate but managed to switch to 70% dark chocolate, which I love now. I do not drink coffee or tea.

I can eat well for 2 meals a day..then I cave in. If I do not have my fix, I get really irritated and get upset by the minute with maybe a headache showing up. I am figuring out slowly that I believe that food is the only sweetness in my life and I believe I am being owed that. It is like the resentment from the abuse and neglect is coming out with my empty belly.

Any other questions?

-----------------------------

The Sepia possibly antidotes the effects of too much Nat Mur, as the rep states it is complimentary to it, just like Apis and Ign. I think most women do good from a dose of sepia once in a while, and myself in particular, I feel like i've had a grease and oil change afterwards, and its good for the hair. When the emotions get a little overwrought I reach for Ign or Nat Mur to regain my balance. Kali C also is a big help with sleeping, works better than a sleeping pill, not to forget Puls with the boost of iron.
I have been using Nat Mur for just over a year and I don't know how I could have survived without it.
I didn't realise how much I liked salt till I thought about it - chips, fries etc. When the body is low on salt it craves it, and sea salt is the best to use.

how do you feel (truthfully ) concerning all the questions?

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
Dear John,
It is not easy for me to divulge...but I am learning to be less threatened by it. I had a very hard time with the homeopath, in part because she is not very "warm" to my eyes. She reminds me a bit of my mom...I almost did not show up once and had to talk to her via internet because the phone was too fearful for me.
I am more willing to answer on the internet because I think of you being far away...therefore safer.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom John Stanton [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
understandable....trust of the self is first priority...whether decisions are correct or not..we need a basis for the next step...we certainly do mold our own reality...

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom salem [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
I just talked to the homeopath and wants to see me with regard to the cholesterol level (she is also a naturopath). She says that she believes that Nat. Mur. did not create the heart palpitations but worsened them. I am a bit confused by that statement because they started when I switched to potency # 12.

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom John Stanton [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-22
we must know that all whom use 'homoeopathic medicines' are not necesarily "homoeopaths" --prescribing is easily done by just about anyone--but accessment and case management determines a 'homoeopath's real merits'..

Re: Nat. Mur. next step/dosageFrom PANKAJ VARMA [Log on to view profile] on 2004-10-23
Salem,
Your talk is very engaging.

Shaitzu....is ti like REIKI?

I have learnt Reiki and have practiced it on myself. I know it is useful. You can do it on others too.

Reiki has the same thing....can find out which part of the body is diseased...the AURA of the human being is depressed around that area.

Take Kali Phos. ... in all this you have probably forgotten that. It is tonic for the heart and the right med. for those whose emotinal side is very marked.

Takes away palpitation quickly.

Best,
Pankaj Varma
