Bad taste in mouth

It began with a metallic taste in my mouth during dental work. the work was completed and the taste continues. Lately it has become stronly acidic. The doctor says it is acid reflux. Thus far the meds do nothing and I am uncomfortable 24/7. Help!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Here is what Boericke has to say about Mercury:

'Mouth.--Sweetish metallic taste. Salivary secretions greatly increased; bloody and viscid. Saliva fetid, coppery. Speech difficult on account of trembling tongue. Gums spongy, recede, bleed easily. Sore pain on touch and from chewing. Whole mouth moist. Crown of teeth decay. Teeth loose, feel tender and elongated. Furrow in upper surface of tongue lengthwise. Tongue heavy, thick; moist coating; yellow, flabby, teeth-intended, feels as if burnt, with ulcers, Fetid odor from mouth, can smell it all over room. Alveolar abscess, worse at night. Great thirst, with moist mouth.'

That is one possibility, but you would need to describe other symptoms.

Some of what you say applys. There is no odor or bleeding of the gums. Saliva output increased, achy lower front teeth. That seems to be the source of the problem. Also sometimes it impedes my speech.
