need to find out more about homeopathic medicines
Are there any chemical studies on remedies like on alopathic drugs? I'd like to know more specifically about magnesia sulphurica and its actions. Any links/books recommended?ksics on 2006-12-28
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The 'studies' are called 'provings' and they are very different from allopathic type studies. You want a 'materia medica'. Quite a few available, and some are on-line. What you want to understand is what a 'Mag Sulph' picture looks like, the totality not just individual actions, which may encompass physical, emotional and mental symptoms. Whether Mag Sulph is correct depends on whether it is the BEST fit of all the relevant symptoms.

Some excellent hard copies, which may or may not have information on that particular remedy, including John Henry Clarke's Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica, S.R. Phatak's Materia Medica, and Robin Murphy's Homeopathic Remedy Guide. Take a look at www.minimum.com.
