runny nose at night

Hi, This is my first time posting here, so sorry if this topic has been covered before.
My 2 year old son has had a constant runny nose that annoys him, as he cannot yet blow it. (I am trying to teach him!) He awakens at night at around 1 - 2 am every night for the past month or so. His runny nose is what wakes him. There is some sneezing too, but no other symptoms. I am trying to take dairy out of his diet, he does not drink milk but has a little cheese. It usually clears up during the day, but last night was particularly bad and tody it is still running like a tap. Clear watery discharge.
Any remedies?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try Ars.alb 200C ,one dose every night before going to sleep, for three consecutive days and stop.

Post response.

make sure there are no odors on him/you, near you(in the room) and in his mouth, while taking the medicine.

One dose is 4 pellets or a drop of the liquid potency, mixed in a table spoon of water.

ok, I will have to go out tomorrow morning and get the remedy. There are a few more symptoms as the day progressed, I actually do think he is now developing a cold. He had loose stools twice today and his eyes are slightly watery tonight too. Otherwise he is in a great mood, bouncing around as usual. Does Arsenicum Album 200C still apply?
