The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Always tired....

Hello,
I am a 27 year old woman and I have been feeling constantly tired for over a year now, in fact it could be too. I eat well, try to excercise (when I'm not too tired) and am generally healthy. I have been to the doctor and had all the tests they can give me which all came back negative so now they think there is something wrong in my head! I have a great job, lovely boyfriend and great friends so there is nothing wrong with my life apart from this tiredness, I really feel like it is ruining my life. I have a constant tired feeling round my eyes and VERY dark circles that people comment on all the time. I feel tired in my head and eyes but not in my body. I have tried some alternative medicine that didn't help at all. I am sick of sounding like a broken record - 'I'm tired' all the time.
Has anyone else experienced this would can give me some advice as to what to try - I really need help!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
how are your periods, are they profuse and long lasting?

can you check up your haemoglobin count and come back.

do you have any digestive, assimilation problem?

Thanks for your reply.
My periods are normally quire short and not very heavy, I am on the pill (microgynon 30). Not sure of my haemoglobin count or how to find that out - I had a recent blood test, do you think my doctor could tell me that if I rang him?
Too much diary can give me problems (bloating etc) so I try to avoid it.

why are u on the pill microgynon 30.

do u have any problems with periods?

it could be the side effects of the medicines you are taking.

if the feeling of tiredness is because of the side effects of the pills, nothing much can be done. check it out with your doctor about it.

you can call your doc. and ask him if he has your haemoglobin count taken recently.

if you can stop your medication, stop it and see if the symptoms still continue.

your gynocological problems if any could be solved by homoeopathy if its curable.

I am on this pill cause its what the doctor gave me and I don't want to get pregnant. Do you suggest I change this? Do you really think it could be because of this - I never thought of that.

Dear Rachel

There are many side-effects from birth-control pills. There's a likely possibility that you are suffering from this. So you need to observe by stopping this pill then only you can be sure whether its affecting you or not.

Thanks, I am stupid not to have thought of that myself. I will most certainly try this!

Since your doctor has prescribed this med, its better to take him into confidence before your trial.
