Weak newborn

This is a bit vague & about a puppy! A friend asked for help with a weak & small newborn male who is 'the runt of the litter'. He is latching onto the teat but cannot suckle properly. He is resilient and keeps trying though. Also, the bones don't seem to have developed properly. His digestive system works i.e. they have seen him poop. Any thoughts of something that will pick him up? Ed

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The fact that bones are not developed properly, points to some sort of deficiency in calcium metabolism.

Trying Calc. Phos 6x (tissue salt)daily once for a month will help.
