Gallbladder infection

Hi.
My dad was recently sent to the hospital for an abdominal ultrasound. His results came back today and the doctors found that he has a gallbladder infection. ALthough it is not gallstones, they said it is the result of a fatty diet.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or advice. Does anyone know what kind of vitamins would be best? My dad is considering having it removed, but I think he is skeptical. Any thoughts other than avoiding fat in the diet?

Thank you!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Its not natural and proper to remove any organ. Gall bladder has its function to do.
