Referred sacroiliac pain

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend narrow down what remedies to look at. It is apparently like a pinched nerve or bursitis, but both of those have been ruled out.

Her doctors have decided it is referred pain from a sacroiliac problem, maybe a misalignment.

The pain is mostly in her right hip and extending down the back of her right leg.

It is a constant burning ache with some tingling. No shooting, stabbing or throbbing.

Cold ice helps. Heat either has no effect or makes it somewhat worse.

It is better for lying flat. Worse as the day goes on and worse for standing too long or for sitting.

Driving is an effort because it requires so much focused concentration. (Some of that may be from the pain medication.)

There seem to be some indications of Aesculus, but I'm not familiar enough with that remedy.

Thank you so much!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
From the description of your friend's pain which you state radiates from her right hip extending down the back of her right leg, it is possible that she suffers from Sciatica which can be due to the pinching of the nerve in her spine which goes down her leg.

Colocynthis 200c in the wet dose may help her together with Arnica 30c also in the wet dose.

The wet dose is made by inserting 3 pellets of the respective remedies into separate bottles of spring water about 500ml capacity and shaking the water hard every time before a teaspoonful is sipped twice daily of each remedy leaving about an hour between each remedy.

Please report response in a week.

Thanks, Joe. She has had sciatica before, but the doctors ruled out that or pinched nerve this time.

Another symptom is that she is somewhat restless, mostly because she can't get comfortable.

I still feel that the therapy I have indicated can help her.

If it does not do so in a week you can forget it.

Thanks, Joe, I'll look into that.
