| I am 43 and have essential tremors of my head and hands. I noticed it gradually starting with my hands and then my head. It has been much more noticeable within the past 5-6 years. It isn't constant but happens often. Regular Coffee, Cigarette Smoking, aggravation and when I'm overwhelmed makes my symptoms intensify. I recently switched to decafe', stopped smoking (never a heavy smoker anyway, only socially) and tried yoga for relaxation. |

Glad to note that you have stopped your smoking and your coffee which you had discovered served to aggravate your problems.
Arnica has helped many to QUIT smoking and it may also help your tremors which I cannot believe are due to Parkinson's.
You can use the 30c potency of this remedy in the wet dose which is made by inserting 3 pellets into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard every time before you sip a teaspoonful 3 times daily.

They are not indicated for Parkinson's.
Stay with the Arnica for a few weeks and report your response.

I do not have Parkinson's. I was tested and it came back as negative. I did experience a bad fall a few years ago and fell on my face and knees. As a result I crushed the cartilage in both knees and am suffering arthretic pain. I had gone through a series of Synvisc injuections. It helped to some degree but the real test will be when the cold weather rolls in. I injured my face, x-rays did not show fracture. I do get crackling in my neck and muscle tightness in my shoulder and the tremors are much worse. Would you still recommend Arnica Montana? | | |

You could not have crushed the cartilage in your knees as you suspected as it is the knee cap or patella that will absorb the shock. The cartilage is inside the knee in the ball joint and it is the erosion of this "lubricant" that is the reason for Arthritis.
You may use Arnica 30c and see how it can help you but there are other remedies that I have used for Arthritis which have cured cases which had defied the best efforts of physicians to bring relief for the pain. | | |

I hope that you realize that Homeopathic remedies are not quick fixes like Tylenol for a headache. They are more subtle in their action and it is difficult to predict when you will experience relief.
You should experience some difference in your sleep pattern on the day after you first start on the therapy. I believe that it is this depth of sleep that is the reason for the recovery of the body in a more positive manner which is promoted by the Arnica you take just before sleep which helps to cure the general aches and pains that you are now suffering from. | | |

I saw the posts from MyCenter of Joe De Livera regarding Essential Tremors. I have been suffering with these symptoms since high school and they have only intensified until now as I am in my mid-50s. Yesterday afternoon, I received my Arnica Montana in the mail. After much effort of stabilizing my hands enough to put the three pellets in the bottle of spring water (spilling the pellets first on the floor, then on the counter, then again in the sink), I took my first sip at 7:30 PM, my second sip at 11:30 PM then went to bed.
As Dr.De Livera stated, I did experience some difference in my sleep pattern. It seems as though I slept a bit deeper, more sound and perhaps an hour longer. Soon as I got up at 9:30 AM, I took another sip. In brushing my teeth, shaving and wiping my face, I seem not to have as much of a struggle in performing these tasks.
As I sit here now and record these first experiences using arnica, I feel a deep relaxation in my entire body without any drowsiness that medication creates. Hopefully, this trend will continue in stabilizing my hands. Thanks Dr. De Livera. | | |

I am delighted that you have used Arnica (what potency?) and have discovered that it has helped you in some manner although I did not prescribe this remedy to you.

You can also start with Arnica 30c which should hopefully help you in the manner that it has helped Sersurf.
Report progress in a week and also consult a Neurologist to diagnose the reason for your tremors which you state you suffered from since your school days. Did you consult any doctors througout these years and if so what was their diagnosis?
You will take Arnica 30c in the Wet dose thrice daily and you will make the remedy in water precisely as prescribed below:
The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:
Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user. | | |

Hello!
I am 28 years old and have recently been diagnosed with (Benign) Essential Tremor. I suffer from trembling tongue, voice, jaws and the limbs.
It started from twitching eyes and with the passage of time it spread to the other parts of my body.
Lately, i have observed that my blood vessels are sometimes visible on my hands and feet making them look weird; my tongue has partially become numb and my speech is becoming slurry/stammered. Similarly, my index finger and right toe has also become numb. And one last thing which i want to mention, though i haven't mentioned it to my neurologist; i have observed, at-times after masturbation, my penis gets swollen.
My Neurologist has prescribed me Clomfranil, Citalopram, Alprazolam and Inderal. I have observed a bit of relief but i want a permanent cure to this disease. As i have heard, Allopathy has side-effects and Homeopathy can uproot any kind of disease.
I am very much distressed. I would be extremely grateful if, anyone could help me out!
