Ulcerative colitis/spastic colon | From jaimi [Log on to view profile] | on 2006-07-22 |

For the past 2 months I have had a relapse of my ulcerative colitis. I was off my medication for 2 years, and then started it immediately (Pentasa 250 2 pills BID) and Rowasa supp 1 daily. But... now my symptoms are not only gas, blood and urgency, I now have what I think is spastic colon, and I am excruciating pain. I am bloated, nauseous, and miserable when this happens. I have good days but I also have really bad days. I started taking homeopathic remedies, but none seemed to work. I was taking L-gluetin, Boswellia, and something called gastronic Dr. from Native Remedies, however, my symptoms have only worsened with the spastic colon, and my other symptoms have not gotten any better. Do you have any recommendations? I am willing to try anything.
Thanks.

Thanks for your advise. I will definitely try it. Do I only need three doses? Or will I have to continually take this in this pattern? Does it come in pill form? Will I be able to find it in a health food store?
Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it! |
