Hi all, I have a sister who is 34 years old. She was diagnosed with RA almost 18 months ago. She was taking anti-inflammatory drugs all this time but her disease is worsening at a very fast pace. Her bone started getting deformed, her feet and to an extent her hands. She tried ayurveda for 1 year but it did not help her a lot. we were looking out for other alternative like homeopathy. I would be glad if any of you could refer us to good homeopathic doctors in india. We live in hyderabad. Thanks in advance Best Regards

Hi, I am a British homoeopath. I cured myself of rheumatoid arthritis. In Deli are the Sehgal brothers, Sanjay and Yogesh..They are great Homoeopaths

StephanieG, Was it one single constitutional remedy that cured you? How long did you hva ethe RA for before being cured? How long did it take for you to be cured while on remedy?

Hi, Yes one single constitutional in a 30c, I may have added a 6c sometime later. I had had rheumatoid for about 16 years, and it didn't take long , hard to say but probably 6-12 months. Stephanie

Stephanieg, As you might be able to tell by my questions, I also have RA. How many times did you have to take remedy? Dosage? For how long? Can you tell me what remedy was? Thanks.

To Stephanie I am not a qualified homeopath but have an abiding interest and dedication to Homeopathy to which I was first introduced as a skeptic in 1968. You may have read some of my posts on the ABC and I would like to record that I have had considerable success in the treatment of Osteo Arthritis with 2 remedies. I use Rhus Tox 1M in the wet dose for the Arthritis, taken twice daily and Hypericum 200c for the pain taken as necessary. This formula has helped many patients some of whom were chronic and had been using almost every drug including Vioxx for their ailment. Many of them can be considered cured as they do not use these remedies any more. They stopped using the drugs when they first started on my homeopathic therapy. I too would be very interested to know the remedy that you used for your Rheumatoid Arthritis and hope that you will share this information with those like me who are interested in helping others with Homeopathy.

Hi Jo and OJ, well done with the Rhus and Hypericum, glad to hear it works for some people. Must have stimulated the vital force in the right direction somehow. Generally I do not "approve" of specifics in Homoeopathic medicine, sometimed they work but often they dont, at least that is my experience. I rarely use physical symptoms, I find the present mental state by far the best route to cure. The remedy that cured me was Lachesis 30c, one single dose, followed probably( cant remember) by a 6c some months later. I do not believe in repeating remedies over and over. If they only work for a short time, in my opinion, either the potency is not right or the remedy is only a partial similimum. Please don't think that because Lachesis cured me it will necessarilly cure you too. That will only happen if it is the remedy that you need, however Lachesis is often called for in autoimmune cases, but not always by any means. StephanieG, Hi Stephie. I'm in the same boat. I was diagnosed with RA about 6 months ago. I started biological medicines ( REMICADE ), but it is very aggressive, so I went to my Homeopath ( Not sure why I didn't go in the first place ). He also said was cured from RA himself. He said drop the chemicals and he will cure me. I'm a little lost I'm not sure if I should continue with the chemicals or switch to Homeopathy. I trust Homeopathy very much so I wouldn't mind, however my doctor said I can't interrupt the treatment or I could be deformed :( Please shed some light I'm confused and scared. Hi, I am writing on behalf of my dad who seems to be having RA but how do we make sure. The homeopathy practitioner who is treating him has not revealed if it is RA or not and has not informed about the medicine he is giving. But the symptoms are similar to that of RA which are swelling in hand, feet and joint pains in hands, shoulder, neck , knee. Can someone tell me if the above are the symptoms of RA or it can be something else as well? also what other information will be helpful in doing further diagnosis and treatment.

Any recomendation for a homeopath in Chicago area, experienced with RA? I am 32 years old and the RA (visibly) started a year ago. Huge pain, especially in my hands. I changed my diet and my lifestyle. It helped with other issues, but the RA seems to go on. I am desperate for help!!!!

Hi, My mom(50) has been suffering from RA from past 6- 7 months and we have tried several alopathic medicines which didn't show any result.So we are planning to go for homeopathy.Advice from anyone will be extremely helpful(in terms of how to proceed in treatment) as we can sense that disease is worsening very fast.
