Continuous expectoration

About a month ago, I took Streptococcinum as a preventive since there was a throat infection going around. About 15 days ago, i had a little bit of throat irritation, followed by hoarseness. There was coughing and scanty expectoration, difficult to bring out. The color of the expectoration is light green, very sticky, and seems to be stuck in my throat. Successively i tried a mumber of medicines in water and dry doses starting with Phos, Carbo Veg, Hepar(when the expectoration was not stick)and then Kali Carb and Kali Bich when it became very stick. Nothing has helped...

My voice is changed as in flu. Nose feels stuffed up. (There is very little discharge from nose). When the expectoration, tries to come out from the throat, it gets stuck there and i feel as if choked.

Alternating nostrils are continuously blocked.

Also in the left side of the chest, just below the ribs, there is some times stitching pain with burning sensation.

Your advices will be highly appreciated.

Dear Homeolearner,

I advise you to take Sulphur 200 one dose and repeat it after 5 days.

Do not take cold food, cold drinks, curd etc.

Report after 7 days.

Many Thanks Dr.Dinesh....

I took sulfur yesterday...later on while reviewing my symptoms, I noticed that I missed one symptom which was that one nostril is closed and the other open. This happens alternatively... After checking the materia medica, I took Lac Can 200.

All the symptoms have improved now by about 75%.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards
