GLOUCOMA !!!

Is there any treat of gloucoma in homeopathy ? my father has gloucoma and he is using very costly medicine (XALATAN eye drops latanoprost)to control his eye pressure, eye vision test indicates the total lost of feild in left eye and other eye is working 75%.there is no pain no irritation nothing in symptoms but the eye side has weaked.
please guide me about any homeopathy drug which can treat the damaged optical nerve and can control intra occular eye pressure with surity like alopathy medicines.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Increased pressure in the eye causes gradual degeneration of optic nerve. As of now there is no medicine to regenerate the nerve. Only thing is to prevent further damage. There are some medicines like Pilocarpus which may reduce pressure but a detailed examination report of an Ophthalmologist if obtained then the treatment becomes easier. I am sure Homoeopathy can help him to alleviate a few factors of the disease.

In Homeopathic Remdies see profile of following remedies and compare associated symptoms:

1. LACHESIS (because left eye...and if he has hypertension...gums inflamed and purple and blue.....sore throat left side....skin rash left side....jealous in nature )

2. PLUMBEM MET. (if accompanied with (chronic) costipation...and red corpuscles are less in number...see medical reports....hair very dry so also skin....colic in the abdomen once in a while...radiating all around....sluggish manner)

3. PHOSPHORUS (Thin and tall person , immaculate in his dressing up, Liver congested, cough in the chest, bleeding gums.....diarrhoea and/or vomiting of mostly water ....difficulty lying on left side)

Hope you find an answer...well chosen remedy can slow down the negative process.

I sincerely advise you to see a competent eye-specialist and get his advise first, then contact any homoeopath.
