Having taken arnica 30x for swelling following gum surgery, I found that the undereye circles I've always had (and always hated) almost totally vanished. I read on this forum that arnica can be taken regularly in a wet dose, and also that cina 30x was recommended. Someone also mentioned pure msm cream.
Just a couple of questions. In the wet dose, do I just take a teaspoon of the water every night (just once a day at night?) until it's gone or does it need to be freshened every so often? Has anyone had good results with arnica cream and undereye circles?
As my gum surgery has gone well and is almost healed, I've stopped taking arnica regularly, but am tempted to go back to it as the results with my eye circles were so dramatic. Would this be a bad thing? I was taking it in the 30x dose, about four times per day as directed (after the initial six doses at intervals of two hours).
Having read about other people's difficulties on this forum, I realise that this may seem a trivial problem, but the transformation with arnica was so dramatic, it really brought home to me how much time I spend trying to cover these circles, and how much healthier, younger and more well-rested I look when they're gone. NOTHING else has ever helped! Pretty amazing, eh?

I advise you China 200 daily one dose in morning will be remove your dark circle but it will take time you have to continue 3 to 4 month

Thank you for bringing this interesting response to Arnica 30x to our notice.
As many members of this web are aware Arnica has been my favourite remedy which I have recommended for many ailments not listed in the Repertories and MM's but I have never used Arnica 30x for clearing up the circles under eyes.
I presume that the 30x helps by increasing the drainage under the eyes which the higher potencies do not do so effectively. I have used Arnica 6c and 30c nightly for the last 10 years but have had these circles under my eyes for the last 20 years which can be accounted for by my advanced age of 76 years. I also believe that this is hereditary.
Answering your question about using Arnica 30x in the wet dose, there should be no problem in using it but I would not recommend that you use in 4 times daily.
Twice will do nicely.

Sazim: I was taking arnica pellets, maybe for a week before I noticed the circles were just gone. One day they were there, next day gone. I was taking it about four times per day, but imperfectly, as my mouth wasn't really acutely swollen and I probably forgot a few doses.
I am a 37 (38 tomorrow!) year old female. I'm very light-skinned, and it looks as though part of the problem is being able to see a vein or blood (almost like bruising) through the thin, translucent skin under my eyes, particularly in the left eye, where the circle extends from corner to corner. My right eye has more of a smudge in the inner corner. The skin is otherwise very good with little wrinkling, sagging or puffiness, so it's not just a matter of shadows or bags.
I have tried taking a very mild iron supplement, which helped for a friend of mine, but it seemed to have little effect.
It seems to get worse, predictably, when I am tired or unhappy, or when I've had a heavy night on alcohol and cigarettes. I probably do drink more than I should (and shouldn't smoke at all!) but I had this problem well before I had these bad habits.
Someone suggested a dairy free diet, as she had observed undereye circles in her son, who has dairy allergies. When he consumes dairy products, she says she knows because he gets these circles. My diet is really very good and I'm not a fan of refined foods. I consume dairy products and caffeine in low to moderate amounts.
Anyone with any other observations? Arnica or msm cream?
Joe: does that wet dose need to be freshened/replaced regularly/refrigerated? Do you just take it a teaspoon at a time until it's gone? I'd be concerned about bacteria in a bottle of water sitting around for weeks, but maybe I shouldn't be?

You may refrigerate the remedy if you live in the tropics.
There is no problem otherwise and you my like to not store the bottle near a window when the light may promote the formation of algae. In any case they are not harmful.
You start with a sealed bottle of water into which you put in 3 globules of the remedy and succuss it prior to use. After you have finished it in about 3 months you replace it with a new one and follow the same drill.

I have been trying natural remedies for over a year with no luck. I finally just broke down and bought a eye cream online which seems to be working now. I got it from eyecomplex. com

I dont understand your fixation with Arnica, if arnica has helped someone with dark circles, it is not necessary that Arnica will work for anyone having dark circles. Pankaj has clearly demonstrated the cause of dark circles both in male and female, and Dr Sajjad like a true homeopathist has asked the cause of Natural1 dark circle, once the cause is known I believe he will prescribe the right medicine, instead of harping the same old tune " arnica is a universal remedy"

I would like to reassure you that I have never preached the 'doctrine' that Arnica is a universal remedy. I have discovered that it does help with stabilizing or in many cases curing many ailments not listed in the Materia Medicas and Reps now in use.
I have always tried to share my discoveries in Homeopathy with others and I believe it is just this factor that seems to shock persons like you. I do not know if you have any qualifications in homeopathy to criticize me but I would like to inform you that the classical school of homeopaths have criticized me as I have gone against the grain of their studies where they have been brainwashed into believing that remedies can only be prescribed after the standard case taking process and that only remedies listed in the current texts may be used for an ailment. You must remember that the majority of the texts in use today were written over 100 years ago and any new remedies discovered after that period are not listed and therefore not recognized, however important this new discovery is. I refer especially to my discovery of Arnica controlling Diabetes and Nat Phos 6x helping with Obesity. This does not mean however that if a known remedy helps to cure an ailment not listed in the classical texts, it must not be used.

I prefer to treat the disease instead of beating about the bush by treating the symptoms. You may like to know that I too resort to the use of homeopathic software, Radar, if I am not certain of the remedy but I do not slavishly follow the rote which I presume you and other 'classical' homeopaths use to treat the causative factors instead of addressing the disease head on with a remedy which I know will work.

I'm 23 yrs & i used to have light dark circles but after the 'Drug Reaction' from one antibiotic medicine and after 5 times urinal infection it has become severe. I'm well now but the dark circles don't go. What can i do?? Please tell me which homeopathtic medicine will cure it forever??

Please take a single dose of Sulphur 200 and see how that affects in 15 days. Only one dose, not daily.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

If you have had 5 urinary infections ( why is that happening?)

enough water a day- 8 glasses and it would be good for
you to try a probiotic to replace your gut flora that was
destroyed by the antibiotics.
It takes around 2 to 3 months to replace the gut flora. Experiment
with probiotic brands till you find one that you like and start
with one a day and work up to 2 a day and do this for at
least 2 months. If you like natural yogurt, take that a couple
times a day bc that has natural probiotics already in it.

usa, we now have cranberry capsules bc it is hard to find

Thanks to both of you.We don't have cranberry in our country,so i can't have that but i've started eating yogurt from today & i'll continue for 2months.I'll also start taking sulphur-200 and hope dat it'll work or i'll be writting soon
