Tretment for enlarged prostate
Sir 2 years agoI was detected having prostate cancer by PSA WHICH WAS 40. Biopsy also confirmed the cancer.I was given radiation therapy for 35 sittings and I was relieved and psa came to less than 1. There after in last October 2005 I had to undergo heart bypass surgery and I could not continue my treament for prostate.Now for last two weeks I feel frequent urination and feeble stream.I am taking Digitalis 200.In India medicines are available in potencies 6,30,200 M etc. kindly advise. You have not indicated your age but at age 73 I was a fellow sufferer from an enlarged prostate which I treated with Arnica 30 taken 3 times daily for 6 years.
Arnica helps to relax the Prostate and ensures that the flow is equal to that which can be achieved with drugs like Hytrin.
You may like to use Arnica to verify your response and I recommend the liquid dose which is made by inserting 3 globules of Arnica 30 into a 500ml bottle of spring water which you can get from any supermarket. You shake the bottle hard to ensure aeration and bubbling and you sip a teaspoonful of the water which is now the remedy 3 times daily after shaking the bottle every time.
I note that you have had bypass surgery and the Arnica will also help your condition.

Actually there is a need to do a full case taking.
However, if you are in a hurry...then try Baryta Carb 200 ...morning and eveing.
It covers prostrate enlargment and heart problems.
If you have been having frequent sore throats all your life (tonsilitis problem)....chances are it will work very well.

Now a days, Most usefull medicine is Ferrum Pic 3x trit 1 grain thrice in a day this medicine is better than Sabal Serulata and you can coninue with Baryta carb or Lycpodium

Eating tomatoes reduces the risk of prostrate cancer.
Excessive use of aluminium in water or food is supposed to be one of the major causes of prostrate cancer.
As per info from a friend :
Prostrate cancer patients are being effectively treated by using a vaccine prepared from their own cancer (New Orleans - USA based research).

Given that I am not able to know more about the symptomatology of the patient, I use corresponding nosode. When in doubt about which remedy to give, try to ascertain the active miasm and antidote it by using the corresponding nosode.
Psora = Psorinum
Syphilis = Syphilinum
Sycosis = Medhorrhinum
Tuberculosis = Tuberculinum/Baccilinum
Psora miasm can also be antidoted by Sulphur, the King of Psora.
Tuberculinum & Bacillinum should not be prescribed in active Tuberculosis.
Please do not use these remedies in high potency in patients with advanced pathology and old age as it may be fatal because the remedies are very deep acting.
Only patients sufficient vitality in their vital force can be prescribed these remedies.
