I know this is early to report as I just gave him Veratrum this morning. But today was the first time I’m am noticing a marked positive change. He is much calmer and the self talk hasn’t happened much at all today! He’s happy and seems much more content. This is exactly the result I was hoping for!! It even looks different than his typical “good days”. I will update in 2 days. Thank you!

Today is Monday. I gave a morning dose of Veratrum on Saturday morning. That’s the first time we dosed in the morning. All day Saturday he was very calm and very happy. Yesterday similar. Today the improvements are starting to fade. Please let me know how you would like me to proceed. Thank you!!

I just tracked my package of Veratrum Album 6C. It is due to arrive tomorrow. Tomorrow marks 1 week since his last dose of the 30c. What would you like us to do? Thank you!

I gave the Veratrum 6C 2 days ago. No big changes to report. He’s still doing well at school and seems to be in a generally better mood overall since we began the Veratrum Album.

I have Veratrum 30c yesterday morning. I would say he had an “ok” day. A little more demanding and slightly more hyper active. Today he’s a bit grumpy and a bit emotional. But nothing really major. Just slight changes in behavior I’m noticing. He also seems like he’s getting back to that obsessive style play of only wanting to do what he wants to do and getting angry when things don’t go his way. Again, not major, but I’m seeing a bit of a drop in overall mood and compliance. Please let me

The improvement can fluctuate like what you are seeing now. It is part of recovery. Please write the foods he takes, from early morning to the night, including any snacks and drinks (with information on what time of the day he takes). Please list all foods that he takes, both most common and less common ones.
Is there any new food he has taken (even once) since Monday, which can explain his change in behavior?

It has not. Here are the dates we’ve seen the vaccine site reaction. 8/23/12

Looking at these dates he’s definitely been sick many more times than those dates mentioned. So it’s definitely not ever single time he’s not feeling well, but when we do see it he does have some type of cold or sickness. I will dose the 6C and let you know. Thanks!!

I have veratrum 6c 2 days ago. Not noticing any improvements. The self talking and hyperactivity seem to be increasing slightly. I just saw your comment from yesterday. Would you like me to give a 6C dose today? Thank you.

I gave the Veratrum Album 6C yesterday afternoon. Today at school his teacher said he needed more redirection and had trouble staying on task. He self talked most of the day as well. Please advise. Thanks!

Please give him Veratrum Alb 6 and Arnica 30 alternately.
Day 1, Day 3 and Day 5 are Veratrum Alb 6 once in the morning
Day 2, Day 4 and Day 6 are Arnica 30 once in the morning (two to 4 pills)
Day 7, free of any medicines
Please do this for one week
Day 1, Day 3 and Day 5 are Veratrum Alb 6 once in the morning

We gave the Veratrum 6C and the following day the Arnica 30. My son had a great day but that evening became very sweaty and clammy. We have since been monitoring and have not given any remedies per your request. The next 2 days following Arnica he became sweaty as well. Today is the third day without remedies and we haven’t seen any sweating episodes. Thanks!

Sweating episodes are signs of detox (as long as he is improving with symptoms) and hence considered good. If you have concerns please feel free to express.
Can you please list the top 5 behaviors that is of concern on your son. What has been better (or slight improvement noticed, even occasionally) and what remains untouched from these two medicines.
This helps to move from constitutional (generals in Homeopathic term) to target issues (particulars).

I have not noticed any negatives from Veratrum or the one dose of Arnica. I have seen improvements in overall mood and he is less hyperactive. He’s definitely not as quick tempered as he was over the summer. He transitions better and is easier to direct. Overall he’s very happy which before he was very grumpy. He teachers notice a big change in demeanor as do I. Today some of the hyperactivity seems to be creeping back in, along with a spike the isolated interests and activities. My top five:
- constant “scripting” or self talk. He repeats songs or tv episodes all day long.
-isolated interests.
-hyperactive. Mind and body constantly moving.
-poor social skills
-fear and anxiety associated with anything like doctors appointments, hair cuts, dental visits, fingernail trimming.
I will say that these 5 items have improved slightly with the Veratrum. Still present, but before it was almost like he HAD to do those things and now it looks more like he just enjoys doing those things. It looks happy now and before looked very anxiety driven. Except the doctor. That’s still pretty bad.
