how much is one dose?

i have been reading and trying to learn homeopathy. one question that i have is "what is ONE dose in homeopathy"?

i keep reading "give one dose of the medicine and stop". do i give 4pills or 6pills or more?

any answer to this query will be appreciated.

thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It could be any of the above, or just one pill. The point is it is given just once.

A liquid dose is usually a teaspoon. That is approximate, so maybe it could be a tablespoon. But it would still be just once. If you decided to take a tablespoon and split it up, some now and some later, that would be two doses.

However, the ideal dose is the "minimum" dose.

I use the Liquid Dose exclusively today as I have ample proof that it works far better than the dry pellets in all cases.

This is made by inserting 3-4 pellets of the remedy into a 500ml bottle of spring water which is shaken hard (succussed) prior to each dose of 1 teaspoonful being sipped once or twice daily.

A variation is the Split Dose where a teaspoonful of the remedy in the bottle is put into a half cup of the same spring water from another bottle and a teaspoonful from the cup is sipped.

I use this method exclusively for Asthma and the remedy is Nat Sulph 6c and many patients who were chronic cases reacted favourably to this Split Dose which has to be taken for about a month daily and then every other day.
