6 month child--posted for-spankingnewmom

I have a 6 month old boy who has not doubled his birth weight. I have never used any homeopathic drug before so I am a little nervous giving it to my baby. When I looked up lycopodium 30c and a website mentioned it is use to cure erectile dysfunction. I cannot post a link on this forum but if you search of Lycopodium 30c in google, it is the first website. Are we sure this drug does not have any side effects? Please help. I am really worried for my baby. My baby is 14.2 lbs and 6.5 month.

Thanks for replying so soon. I an new to this forum but I found the post you opened. He is gotten all the immunization shots required in the US for 6 month old babies. He does have reflux. I used to give zantec for babies but I stopped because my husband doesn't want to. I stopped giving him medicine when he was 2 months old. I breastfeed him and I give him oatmeal, fruits. He takes about 14 oz of milk and 4 oz of the solids total about 18 oz of food intake. He should be takign about 28 oz of just milk at this age. He is pretty active and developing fine. He just doesn't gain weight because he does not eat. Pregnancy was fine. I had no problems at all. He was 7lb 2 oz when he was born. I just took prenatal vitamins when i was pregnant. I have not had anycoke or coffee or any alchohol since i got pregnant. The baby was healthy when he was born and does not have any white spots on his nails right now. I just need to somehow increase his appetite without causing any other side effects.

Hello spankingnewmom
Congratulations on being a new mom.

Homeopathy is not a drug as there are no detectable chemicals in it. It is believed that the essence or energy of the substance used to make the homeopathic remedies is what causes a cure. Homeopathic remedies are known to cause what is called aggrevation. For instance, if you take a homeopathic remedy for hot flashes, it could make them worst for a short time. Most often for a week or less. Sometimes they aggrevate old symptoms as it cures them.

Might want to do some research on your own.

Thanks for the reply but your advice is that I do my own research? Is there a homepathic "remedy" that I can use to increase my baby's appetite? remedy is no major side effects..?

Hello SpankingNewMom

I am very sorry to say that I have very limited knowlege of homeopathy and cannot help you with a remedy.

However, I just remembered that my sisters twins had very little appettite when they were 6 months old, and what helped them both was that she took them to a healer who did laying-on-of-hands on them. The first thing my sister noticed as soon as they got home was that they ate. She was so excited that she got on the phone and called us all to tell us the babies were now eating. She also added acidophilus to their bottles.

You can help your baby by just putting your hands on his belly for about 5 minutes or longer especially when he is asleep. If you prefer you can look for a healer or Reiki practitioner or a Massage therapist (some are also trained to do laying-on-of hands/Reiki)

Keep posting here and asking for help. Homeoapthy does WONDERS.

Hope someone answers you and suggest some homeopathy remedy for you.
