How to Choose a Good Doctor

The characteristic of a good and real homeo doctor is, his treatment method is to get complete information of patient. So he agree to spend enough time to listen or read of the description and get a total physical and mental picture of the patient. Even if the patient do not provide enough information, he collect it by asking and questioning to the patient.

On other hand, an insincere or commercial minded homeo doctor, who want to income more within short time and short labour, not interested about full or details information of the patient, even do not agree to listen or read the description provided by patient. An example of a dialogue of this kind of doctor is, "It is not possible to spend two days for one patient!"

These kind of doctors use Unani or Herbal medicine along with Homeo medicine and giving their concern to only a specific organ or ailment, not give any attention to complete physical and mental picture. But usually if a case properly taken and complete physical and mental information of a patient carefully analyzed, then it is enough to select an appropriate homeopathic remedy and no need to use any other medicines (i.e., unani or herbes). Sometimes it may be needed to use herbs or ayurveda or unani along with homeopathy, but why without giving attention to proper homeopathic remedy selection? It is not at all a good practice to cure or improve only a particular organ or condition using herbs or unani instead of treating ultimately overall condition of a patient using constitutional homeopathic remedy. Unani or Herbes may be auxiliary or supplimentary medicine of homeo medicine, but not should be considered as an alternative to choosing a proper constitutional homeopathic remedy for a homeopathic physician.

As homeopathic medicines are very cheap in price, so it is difficult for the doctors to take more money by providing one or two dram liquid or globule of medicine. So in order to generate revenue, they choose the method to providing either 4 to 5 ounce homeopathic mother tincture at a time, or herbal or unani stimulate tablet and syrup.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Probably the treatment method of these kind of doctors are to using a certain particular herbal or unani syrup or tablet for each ailment and only fix dosage on the basis of severity or weakness level of the patient or disease. i.e. When an ED patient go to such a doctor, doctor only ask the condition of impotency. If patient say that he suffer by complete impotency, then doctor offer him more dose and suggest to continue for long time of prescribed tablet or syrup. If the patient tell about occassional weaknesss and have some power and capacity, then doctor may offer the same drug in low volume and reduced dose. So, they may need not select remedy for particular patient. They may use same herbs or unani medicine for all. So they are not interested to listen or study the complete case of a patient.

If you ask them about their prescribed medicine whether it is homeo or not, they will answer it is homeo unani. But we know homeo and unani is totally two different treatment system. There is nothing named 'homeo unani'. Unani treatment also may helpful for the people, but it must be practiced under unani banner, why it be practiced under homeo banner?

In some instances usage of organ support remedies and mother tinctures are justified. Patients who are dependent on modern medicine or who are on daily medicines, will not exhibit the right symptoms, and initially here constitutionals or indicated remedy will not be clear and even if given may not give desired results. And another instance is in way of palliating. But i agree in some places this has become a norm rather than exception like what you say for money.

Treating sexual issues esp. in men is a time consuming and arduous process. And for rejuvenation of nervous system some of the unani and ayurveda medicines are good compared to hpathic medicines. Hence this mix of therapies. But when good h'paths handle these in tandem good results can be obtained.

Yes,
Sometimes unani and ayurvedi medicine can provide good result than homeopathic medicine. But objection is only that case, when a homeopathic doctor feel annoying and does not agree to listen or read the complete history and symptoms, only showing interest to resolve it by unani in a short cut and expensive way.

Another two symptom of these type of homeopaths:-

* They do not interested to know about the homeopathic medicines which the patient has already took, specially which have recently taken. But remedy relationship issue is very important in homeopathy. As they actually do not provide homeo medicine, so they have no reason to feel headache about previous taken remedies.

* Suggesting or providing the medicine of a particular local company. But actually homeopathy has no customized product, it is not important who manufactures the medicine. It is true that, German Scwabe company's homeo medicine is best. But suggesting only company based product is obviously patent medicine.
