High fever - unable to reslove - Please help

My mother underwent colonoscopy and Esophagogastroduodenoscopy. After that she fell sick. We couldn't narrow down the reason but here are our guesses. She caught some infection during procedure. The weather is hot and she taken strong laxatives. She had loosemotion i.e. excessive fluid loss. She had to stay hungry for entire day.

She had low fever and was suffering of severe pain. She was consistently changing sides. I could very clearly make out that this is a case of rhus tox. 2 dose of rhus tox 200 were sufficient. The degree of pain reduced and now she is no more changing side.

Now the nature of complaints changed. Here is her state
1. Since then fever has increased slowly crossed 103 F even when we are administering paracetamol and are also placing ice dipped towel. This has happened over 3 days.

2. Her pulse is hard and fast

3. She is suffering of body pains esp. Back and thigh.

4. She is feeling cold i.e. she is disliking fan when every one feels like turning on the fan. Occasionally she also feels like turning on fan/AC.

5.She has been asking for cold water/cold lemonade. Thirst has increased than normal.

6. She is hardly eating anything.

7.Eyes are red, finding it difficult to open. Dislikes light.

8. Little stool passes with sound/Flatus.

9. Tongue is coated

We have tried
1 dose Eup Perf. when fever was low.
1 dose aconite 200 When fever was high. Nothing seems to help.

Please guide me, help resolve this issue.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Belladonna 200 may be given upto 6 doses like thrice daily for two days.

I have already administered rhus tox. They cancel each other. Will it even work after that?

You mean cancel because BELL is listed as an anti dote to Rhus? Bell is also a complementary remedy to Rhust. In intense acutes we need not wait to change remedy if it's indicated thinking about anti dotes. Inimicals are the ones where we need to be careful.

Bell has redness, aversion to light, violence in symptoms like high fever, pulse hard/fast, this could be inflammatory(infection) fever, thirst and liking for cold drinks. For me Bell, Bry and Phos seem indicated. If Bell does not work, you could try Phos., or Bry.
