mrsa

Hi, has anyone found what works for MRSA?
This person has also been having nightmares where he screams out.

Also, would Sulphanilamidum be a good choice?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopaths usually need to know about the person in order to find the most appropriate remedy so please answer the following questions as much as you can. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

1. Chief complaints (Diagnosis) – Please explain your main symptoms.
a. Diagnosis (name of disease)

b. Exact location ( affected organs)

c. Sensation ( eg. sharp pain, stubbing, dull, throbbing, etc)

d. Causation of illness

2. When did it all start?

3. Are there any changes in your mental /emotional state since your illness?

4. What are the things which aggravate your symptoms?

5. What are the things which ameliorate your symptoms?

6. What other physical / mental symptoms do you have?

7. What time of the day do you feel the worst in general?

8. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

9. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

10. How is your thirst; Less, Normal or Excessive?

11. How is your hunger; Less, Normal or Excessive?

12. How well do you sleep?

13. Are you generally feel hot or cold?

14. What medications have you been taking to treat the disease?

1) This person is generally very healthy! Is normally warm. The MRSA started from a shaving Nick, then spread over his chest overnight!! Red, swollen, itchy with red spots.

2) 2 YRS ago he got a Staph infection, cellulitis on His leg from a wound. We consulted with an India Homeopath who prescribed, Ars, antimonium crudum & bovista which those worked along with herbal supplements but I think maybe it was still hiding as the original site is still pink.

3) luckily we had some powerful topical & silver gel, etc. Or he'd probably be in the hospital! His immune system doesn't seem to be responding.

4) he has a history of sensitivity to poison oak in the extreme. If it's in the air, he would get it. I gave him several doses & latencies of Calc carb & now he is much less sensitive to poison oak but now gets bacterial infections!

5) also has genetic high Cholesterol which he let get way high so we are giving supplements for that & diet changes that helped in the past. Not sure if this condition is affecting the immune system.

6) warm water makes the itching feel better but the silver gel works better.

7) he doesn't want to take antibiotics as usually it just comes back & messes up your gut.

8)He sleeps good
9)hunger & thirst normal, no fever.
His energy level is lower though.

10) started a week ago.

There aren't any other symptoms/changes

Thank you

Please give him Rhus-t 30c, twice a day for 5 days and see how he feels after that.

Also, Cholesterinum 30c may help to lower his cholesterol.

Bovista works better for him & one remedy isn't enough in this extreme circumstance as we discovered with the Staph infection 3 yrs ago.

Where can I get Cholesterinum? Hadn't heard of that one. Have you had any experience with it?

Thanks!

If you know that Bovista works better for him, then you may continue with Bovista.

And you can also start giving him Rhus-t.

You may also add Staphylococcinum 200c, once a week until improvement.

As for Cholesterinum, you can get it from Helios. I have use it in my private practice, and some people had a great result but some are not.

Yes. I contracted MRSA last year. The original lesion was on the back of my head squarely on the occiput. A large boil, crimson and very painful. After several unsuccessful treatments by a dermatologist, I took 1M Calendula. The pain diminished mediately and I fell into a peaceful 7-hour sleep. When I awoke the boil was gone. Melaleuca 1M (tea tree oil) healed a recurrence in 1 hour. No more relapses since October.

Hi,

Thanks for posting this - happy to hear you are healed.

I just read the Australian proving of tea tree oil -
And before they give proving results- they say
The oil itself has excellent results on MRSA
As it leaves healthy skin alone and targets
The Infection.

Just curious, how did you decide to use
1m rather than the oil itself?

I had used the oil and it was much less effective. The British Homeopathic Association published a brilliant proving melaleuca and its efficacy in treating MRsa and other drug resistant infections.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. When I google the proving,
I only get the Sydney proving and there is also an India proving ( but one has to buy the book to read it)

Do you have a link or info on how to read the one
You read?

Thanks again.

Sorry I don't. I havecread the Australian one and it is also very good.

Heartofnests

Thanks for posting your experience. It was good to see how you used calendula and then melaleuca. In modern medicine external application with mupirocin as an ingredient can help mrsa but it's an anti biotic and when homeopathic medicines are explored this way we tend to see such good results.
