muscle tightness and stiffness after prolonged bed rest

Hello doctors, is there any remedy to relax very tight muscles. I was bed ridden for three months due to a fracture in my foot which is now healed but my thigh muscles have become very tight and stiff. Its painful to massage the area. No swelling or anything just a constant feeling of tightness. Thanks in advance
