Homeopathy and Health Forum
My father is 76 years old. He developed hernia for which he got operated around three years ago with mesh placed. But after few months it re-occurred. Since he had an accident last year, in which his leg was broken, though now operated, but had a tough last year (post leg operation). The doctors are suggesting him to avoid hernia surgery now. I am looking for an advice for any homeopathy remedy for his hernia pain ease
He is diabetic and takes other alopathic medicines too and also has prostrate. Would appreciate if any thing for both hernia and prostrate can be suggested
BTW, I myself (46 years) have also hernia from few years, but have opted not for any surgery so far. Will i be able to use the same drug

Please take Nux Vomica 200 and Sepia 200 twice a day for 10 days and report back.
One dose means 2 pills each of both remedies at a time.
Both of you may take these remedies.
kadwa on 2017-11-13Thanks for the advice, we normally get homeopathic medicines in drops here. Is it fine to use in lieu of pills
RashidMunzur on 2017-11-13You may take 2 drops instead of 2 pills. One can make medicated pills by adding few drops to 2 dram globules. Pills are very convenient to carry and use.

Wanted to update on the status
My father hernia has started squeezing, since start of the medicine. As a matter of fact, his care taker mentioned a sudden change after few days of starting medicine.
As for myself, I also observed that it went upward from its current position after few days, however not much change from there on wards
