Attn: Dr Mohla—Strange behaviour/ gestures in my 7 year old son

Hi Dr Mohla,

I am really upset and worried about a problem in my son who is 7 years.

Recently, since couple of months ago, he strangely moves his fingers like he is piano. He does these gestures few times in the day especially when he doesnt have anything to do or is thinking something. He sometimes does while talking also. Since a week ago, he many a times cleans his clothes with hand as if they are dirty even though they aren’t. Otherwise he is a brilliant child in studies, has a good general knowledge, very intelligent, never fussy about eating etc. However is very short tempered and gets hyper very easily.

I live in Canada but my son and daughter lives with my wife in India with my dad. He is very attached to my dad and spends most of his time with him. During my recent visit I noticed his hand gestures and now my dad told me about his new habit of dusting his clothes.

I am really very very worried about this and request you to assist me as soon as possible.

Hi Dr Mohla !

He loves to play cricket, football, badminton as outdoor activities and loves to watchTV , play ludo, play with cars etc. In short, he loves to play all kind of sports and is very active and energetic. Regarding his food habbits, he is not fussy about anything, likes to eat vegetables, loves fruits like apples, Mango is his favourite, pineapple watermelons, etc.

About his fever, he had been suffering from fever, cough and cold few times and my wife have him crocin for kids and also cough syrup.

Please advise how to proceed

Nothing to worry and if you have seen a cricketer when in childhood they pretend to bat a ball or do balling action even on road and also at home.Pl observe his attention.

Hi Dr Mohla,

Just wanted to let you know that after 10 days of giving dosage, there hasnt been a great change in the behaviour. He is really very intelligent in his studies and sports but just that these small habits of his are disturbing us.

I would say that there is a 0 ~ 5% improvement.

Please advise.

He repeats only one action or two three action.

Hi Dr Mohla,

I checked again with my father and he mentioned that there is improvement in one of his actions that he used to repeat i.e. cleaning his clothes often as they are dirty. However, he just now performs action like bowling or batting etc which I think is ok because I remember during my childhood days, I used to do the same becuase of my passion for cricket.

It is for you to decide the further course of action.

Nothing to worry I have already explained you.Pl get white chest nut Bach flower and give one dose daily but I advise this if repeated action otherwise no need.
