Frequent Chest Infections

Hello,

My mother is 79 years old. In the last 2 years, she has been hospitalized 3 times due to chest infection including pneumonia. She had her most recent chest infection about 2 weeks ago and took strong antibiotics. She still complains about some uncomfortable feeling in chest - something she has complained about in past when having chest infections. Allopathic doctor doesn't think it is serious.

Her chronic problems are asthma, compression fracture in spine at 2 places, hypertension and constipation.

I give her silicea 30, symphytom 30 and sometimes arnica 30 due to back pain.

For other problems, she takes allopathic medicines.

I want to ensure that she is able to prevent any more chest infections. They have been quite complicated and life threatening before. She is prone to develop them especially when the weather changes which aggravates her asthma also.

Please suggest a remedy that she can take on long term and regular basis to prevent chest infections. I am considering Antimonium Tartaricum.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes, Antimonium Tart is the right remedy. Bryonia should be the next remedy if ant doesn't work.
