Cold sores

I have been getting cold sores for about 2 years now. Can someone let me know the best remedy to remove these permanently?

Background: I have taken Nat Mur 6C for about 3 times a day for 3 days. After they didn't go away I repeated about twice more. Than I moved to Nat Mur 30C and I have taken it same 3 times a day for 3 days. I had much better response so I repeated this twice and even took this once a day for about a week before the cold sores completely went away.

Now I have gotten sick and the cold sores are back but this time not on my lips but below my lower lip.

Please let me know best solution.

Homeo helper, I had another question. I am experiencing ringing in my ears, salty taste in my mouth and dry skin when I take Nat Mur 30C. Do these symptoms indicate I am taking the medication too much? Should I still move up to Nat Mur 200C?

Please advise.
