getting better after bad virus

I had a bad virus for a month that started like a head cold then turned into full body aching and being really ill for two weeks, I started to feellike I was getting better but then it went on to my chest.

All the other symptoms went from the virus but Ive been left with a chest infection for two months, which my doctor thought had turned to pnemonia. I had a chest xray recently but it was clear and didnt show anything at all.

Ive had two courses of antibiotics, unwillingly as I wasnt getting better at all. So this started in Mid March and Ive still got the remnants of the chest problem.

I want to find something that will help me to get better and get rid of this.
I only have light symptoms left so a bit of phlegm still - it feels like I need more to come out to get better.

Theres some chest pain which is eleviated if I cough up a little phlegm.
I also get short of breath quickly when walking up stairs but if i go on a walk im fine if i walk at a normal pace.

I dont feel ill anymore but I feel like Ive still got a chest infection thats hanging on - just want tomething to help me get rid of it.

A friend recomended Kali carbonicum 200 twice daily but Ive read online this may not be right for what I need and Carbo veg seems like a good way to get back to health?

This is an internet forum. Posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Carbo Veg 30 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects over a week. Please take Kali Carb 30 in the same way if your problem persists.
